This is my first go at using rockwool to germinate. What caused the seedling’s stem to shrink as if it had been strangled? I had the cube in a covered container placed on a heating mat. Is it a goner?

I’d bury it and pray. I don’t use cubes so I can’t say on that much besides did u soak the cube in pH balanced water for a long time make sure u get the cubes pH in check otherwise maybe it got a bit too warm but I’d lean towards a wonky pH possibly. She might pull thru if u bury her and leave just a bit before leaves show. She will stretch some as she grows so close to dirt is good.

Pot her in a little planting pot or solo cup…? I listened to the entire funeral march, that was nice, thanks.
