We are on the verge of launching our hemp commodity auction platform. The purpose of the platform is to create a safe venue for professional honest transactions. All participants will be vetted for entity verification by Lexisnexis. Buyers will be asked for proof of funds for verification and be given access to auctions they qualify for by budget limit. We’ve also lined up escrow and transport options.
Our informal feedback has been from hemp growers and processors (supply side). We have very good feedback from them and are looking forward to the platform.
I’m looking for suggestions to get the word out to attract buyers. We welcome any tips, techniques, advise etc. We anticipate a slow adoption on the buy side (I hope not too much) as we are requiring participants to be vetted for identity and proof of funds.
We hope the concept will be so popular that when the Feds role over we can eventually provide this to the cannabis industry also.
