have any of you growers seen any real change in yeild when super cropping… i actually stopped a while back because it never proved it self on being true in my grows… the ones i super cropped would sometimes get slightly bigger… sometimes the plants that i didn’t got slightly bigger… is this something any of you swear by? just wondering if its really worth the stress from personal experiences!
There are pros and cons to every decision in life. I prefer using HST methods for a better more organized crop due to the fact that I like growing big sativa’s. I have seen them work and believe in the principles. It always helps me improve the size of the popcorn buds on the side branches. I used to also super crop indoors because of space limitations and always believed that that the potency was increased after HST to. You are a man of science, I wonder what the studies say?
my studies unfortunately hasn’t given me enough on the subject to give out knowledge on it… ive had plant do good, and with some of the same ones not do anything at all just the days of stress after… ive also have dropped shit on my plants during flowering amd the super cropped bud gotten the biggest… its hard to actually see and notice like, hey that shit got bigger on all the ones i did that too… because sometimes they get a little bigger… most of the times they dont…
everyone swears by it… but i haven’t see much by it! is it just me? i mean. im pretty sure i know how to super crop!
Easiest way to see a major difference is to check the difference of popcorn buds on one side of the bush vs one that you have bent and changed. Watch how fast the plant responds to changes. There are alot of issues with supercropping to as it may cause your plant too much stress, slow down growth. I use it for reason and its usually to improve the lower branches yield and also help me regulate growth of the beasts.
I also use “natural super cropping”, like when we have heavy winds and a stem breaks, I put the plant under more stress, twist, tie and bend, prune at the same time. I try and limit the amount of stress plants go through. The best way to try for yourself is grow the same genetics side-by-side and see for yourself.
those are all very good ideas ima take into consideration… ima start paying more attention on the sides to see more development on side by side plants.
