A lot of growers are moving from HPS to LED and I design lights to help make that easier. But I know switching isn’t always simple. Was there anything tricky about the change like heat, light distance or plant response? I’d love to hear what surprised you or helped most during the transition.
What was the hardest part when you switched from HPS to LED grow lights?
Share your experience and how did you solved it too.

for me there was no hard part… less heat— less weight ----- less electricity —don’t have to change the bulbs for veg/flower---- but you must have a good LED light when you make the move or you will be dissatisfied with lesser LED’s…

Nothing hard about the conversion, I have been using LED’s for 3 hours happily now. Far more economical and a better environment to work with.

Gee I don’t remember…it’s been a good 15 years ago now. The ONLY problem I had at first was the stupid blurple lights, went back to Ceramic MH until they gained their senses and went with a full spectrum white LED.
