That’s an interesting idea, but those leafy greens would be 1/3 chewed from the cats in my house haha! Maybe that’s where the catnip gets planted!

good idea … edible animal treats on the bottom. I had a dog that found my wild asparagus patch once. It was a race to get the new growth each time! I guess animals’ lack of a frontal lobe may effect their ability to ration and abstain

I can’t keep my cat out of my grow tent man. I received a 3500k COB light for testing awhile back and that thing puts out such a “sunlight-looking” kind of light that it is LITERALLY the only lamp I’ve found my cat religiously tanning under. Check out COB’s sometime, interesting tech!

I’ve had some experience with these. They all seem to have the same problem; the top tiers dry out and aerate well, while lower tiers stay incredibly wet and poorly aerated. This is fine for some crops like kale and lettuce, but crops like Cannabis will suffer in all but the upper tiers. Try if if you like but be prepared to fight root rot and poor growth the whole time on the lower levels

Oh, my cat always nibbles on our basil for some reason. She can’t do it any more because it’s on the roof now. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, cannabis is definitely a much more finicky plant compared to lettuce or kale. You can grow those plants in practically any condition as long as they have water. I even grew some lettuce in desert soil once… it was disgusting because it had so much latex in it.
