Not everyone can grow outside. Legalities and other factors.
Lets say we have a 6x6 foot room. What’s next?
What lights do we use? How many? Place them where?

@Homey , a cool topic for me to dream about, cause i dont think I will ever grow indoors again, outdoors is it for me. First thing first is decide which lights, HID or LED. Going with LED which needs about 30- 40 watts per square foot. So a quick calculation and conversion from 6 metres to feet I would say you need 4 x 600 watts in that room for a good coverage. I thought these lights looked good.
So are we doing extraction fans etc?

what made u choose a B spec instead of an R spec? i know a grower that uses B spec i use R spec. just curious

Not sure there’s such thing as a perfect grow room my perfect might not be your perfect. Lots to consider, intake, exhaust, lighting, c02 then closed room,cooling,heat

Lol clean is always good. I prepped my concrete floors with I can’t recall what then painted white after that…use 1” thick 4’x8’ insulation board… 
I wanted to do what you dude but made my rooms and hallway to the rooms and was to late and to cold at the time plus couldn’t etch it and hose off with all drywalled walls but I like that

Hell yea that works! I just happened to do a job and the home owner had done his garage.
He explained how easy and inexpensive it was doing it himself . I was going to just paint them also then went that route and couldn’t be happier

Yes! CO2, lighting, air handling, the whole 9 yards.
Of course what is perfect for one may not work for another, but this will lay down the various considerations needed to be overcome when planning your room.
I’m thinking of maybe diving the room in two (?) and using one exhaust fan on top for both.
