Well, went out this morning and discovered this. I had been reading on several sites that Solfire, has/had a major problem with hermorphidites. First time I have every grown anything from them and sure enough…
There goes a third of my stash !

That’s frustrating for sure.
That’s a bummer You know I had heard the same thing I’ve never tried their genetics have always wanted to but I think I will steer clear not a very good first experience with someone’s genetics
I don’t think I will get any more of their stuff. Like I said, the pheno’s were all over the place and now this, no consistency at all. If it turns out just so/so I am really going to be bummed. But this was one of the Flavor Burst, a collaboration between Solfire and Exotic. Haven’t had that problem with Exotic only strains.
Damn dude thays shitty. Herms can happen. But that seems like its very unstable anyways. I got some free lemon haze auto seeds and they hermed. Like wicked bad herms every single bud had male and female flowers. From top to bottom its was a full on herm.
Yep this was the same way, males at every node with the female flowers. I also have two collaborations in, between Exotic, and Solfire. They have the smallest buds I have every grown, they just don’t want to seem to go full flower, I only have about 4-5 weeks left outside seriously wondering if they will make it.
As of right now, seriously small still.
I just spritzed them this morning with some Epson salts tablespoon dissolved in 1 gal of water, hope that jump starts them.

Yeah Chris, not to happy about it, but what ya gonna do except grin and bear it lol. A update, that spritzing with Epson salts, sure did help. And frankly I was surprised that it did, the plants were dark blue-green not a hint of yellow anywhere even before I spritzed them. But it did get them going, they literally got 25% bigger in two days. I should have taken a pic, but it was near dark. And truth be told I have a neighbor problem, they turn on lights all times of the night, they just moved in late last year, and I think I am getting light pollution to the point of possibly causing that herm, and the repressed flowering as well. Good news is I think the husband went on nights two days ago, as the late night lights coming on have stopped and his car is gone all night. Keeping my fingers crossed !!
This is very interesting. Epsom salts is such an amazing aid for not only plants but also us people. It works on the plants just like it works on humans.
Yeah I know, mostly you hear potassium for everything flower. More to it than that. I also spray my tomatoes, peppers and cucks with Epson salts, they make more fruit and bigger fruit, and the blooms set more often. Should have thought of that sooner lol.

Well here is a little study in the application of Epson salts at the rate of 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. Applied in the morning just as the sun was starting to hit the plant so that it would absorb with the whole day left to assimilate into the plant. The top pic is before the application, and the second pic is 2 days later, same bud. Maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part, but it sure looks like increased trike production. The plant just looks “whiter” from a distance.
