If a strain like Northern Lights is in full flower in a hydroponic grow, is 30" high and occupies 1 square foot in a SOG configuration, the air temp is 80 F and the RH is 60%, how much water would it transpire per day if grown in a greenhouse? Lot’s of info there haha. I am looking for a ballpark number. I have heard everything between 200 and 2000 mL per day. Does anyone have data on this? Thanks!

How much are you feeding the plant and how often?

Also, what lights are you running?

My guess would be between 0.5 and 1.0 gallons per plant per day

Hi Hunter. Using 1000W HPS as supplemental light. Maybe 1 light for 20 sq. ft. Thank you for your response.

Plants transpire 95% or so of the water that you put into them. Each plant is probably putting out around 1900 ml a day.
