SO I had a friend helping me with my grow while on vacation, well long story short came back to find out she used the wrong nutrients in a mix and was wondering what the best solution is: I run a hydroponics setup with Athena Pro and she added Grow instead of Core in the flower cycle so yep way to much Nitrogen for the ladies. At first I saw no ill effects, but been a week and starting to see some tip burn and a little monkey claw. So far I have used a folair spray with heavy Cal/Mag, any other suggestions?
Sounds like you need to change you solution, if you haven’t already. Dump the system and start fresh. BUT I grow in ProMix. let me see if I can tag someone in that knows more about @Hydro … (see what I did there? ) I don’t spend much time on the bubble side of the boards, but I’ll see if I can find some more hydro growers to tag in.
How long were your plants fed incorrectly? (how many feedings?) what were your feed rates that were intended?
IIRC core is the product with the high nitrogen. If anything you might have too much PK. If it was Core that was added instead of Grow then you should be doing a light Grow flush and go back to regular feeding. (assuming this didnt go on for weeks/months in which case the plants should be pretty jacked up by now)
i think all hydro growers with a few cycles under their belt have done something like this. lmao i remember adding like 500 ml of drip clean to a 55 gal drum once way back when on accident thinking it was something else.
with THAT you could tell immediately that something was wrong lmaooo
