But I am struggling to figure out why my watermelon zkittlez has such early mottling and yellowing on its old growth. My previous grows do have this same problem on old growth but typically during week 6+ of flowering, but never week 3 being only day 22.
The temp and humidity are stable and running around 75F and 45% with normal 12/12 %100 light density for flowering. I have a solid 3/4 feet of space between my lights and plants in my 4x4. I am running the Vivsun 650W . The nutrients that I am using are Advanced nutrients organic flowering in low doses with a lil calmag, and purple cow IndiCanja for soil. It doesn’t look like I have any fungi growth or negative bacteria that would cause problems.
I am worried I have bad genetics due to the other strain I have growing in the tent is doing great with no problems. I would love to have some feedback on what I am doing wrong and how to improve.
The leaf tips being brown/yellow and curling up means you have been riding that nutrient line, but high PH will lead to nute lock (plant not accepting more nutrients).
I would start with correcting the PH issue, maybe do a flush with proper PHd water, then see where you’re at.
This website is a great source of info, but this is how to flush.
Welcome to the Forum! I’m not sure but your plant appears to be nutrient robbing from the leaves. Check the pH level when feeding and you might want to bump up your nutrients a little. Here is a Grow Journal Check List, copy and paste the information and post it so members can help you out without asking a lot of questions.

Awesome thanks for the help, I kinda suspected that I was overdoing it with the soil-mix plus the dosing causing a pH any recommendations for an organic Up/Down.
Organic is not my forte. I use general hydroponics ph up/down combo.
There’s a bunch if stuff you can use organically. Search that website for “organic ph control” and it will probably come up with more than a few options for you.
After looking up the soil your using (witch seems to be awesome btw) I think is causing your issue, I don’t know enough to know but it looks like the ratios of cal/mag is using the issue potentially ? Also watering amounts and duration (to run off or not) can also be releasing more nuts at once causing ph fluctuations? its hard to use soil so I dont lol! but best of luck!

Nutrient cycles (how often feed/water): Every 2 days for watering, feeding every other watering
I thought about that, they recommend not adding many nutrients, and if you do keep it in low doses. I use it for my job at a nursery in propagation and it does amazing. But I will look into it more about excess nutrients from the mix. Thank you much
