We Are New In Town!

Hey Guys! I’m happy to have found this community. We are Canna-Connect, a consulting agency that works with licensed cultivators and dispensaries to build real bonds within the industry.

We focus on helping good operators find the right relationships — whether that means sourcing consistent supply or moving quality product through the right channels.

We’re keeping an internal network of verified businesses (free to join for those who qualify) — mainly to stay connected and make sure we’re looping in solid operators when opportunities come up.

Looking forward to learning from folks here, contributing where I can, and connecting with anyone who’s open to a conversation.

Hello and welcome to the Growers Network.

Are you guys a brokerage firm? What state is this suppppsed to cover?

We could be considered a brokerage firm but with a twist. But more of a sourcing agency, market facilitator or an operators network.

Currently, we are operating in all of the legal cannabis markets.

www.canna-connect.co is our website and there you can find all of our info.

I certainly don’t know about every state, but most on this forum are home cultivators. I am licensed with the state of Missouri, but for medical only home use. And our rules are no sales for us. You have to be a licensed COMMERCIAL cannabis grower to either provide or sell anything cannabis related to a dispensary in MO.

Marty,

Correct! This applies to ALL states being as interstate commerce is not currently allowed.

So how it works is, if you or a dispensary was to contact us, we would facilitate the deal. If you are in our database and a dispensary in Missouri needed new product in their menu, we would contact you…if you contacted us and wanted to be placed in dispensaries that you are not currently partnering with, we would make that happen. ONLY in the state you’re licensed with can we provide services!

I guess I didn’t make that clear, we are NOT commercially licensed growers. I personally am a licensed grower for medical only just for me. I could produce cannabis for 2 other medical licensed users, but CANNOT in any way shape or form sell cannabis.

In Missouri the rules are this. You cannon grow period without a medical grow license. You as a private licensed grower CANNOT sell period.

ONLY commercially licensed growers can sell and only to their own or other dispensaries. The dispensaries must purchase their cannabis from commercially licensed growers, they CANNOT purchase from home medical licensed growers.

It is legal both for medical and for recreational now as well, but it must be purchased from a dispensary, and if you get stopped say for speeding and you have cannabis it is STILL illegal unless it was purchased from and in a container from a licensed dispensary. If the cannabis is not from a licensed dispensary it must accompany a medical license card with the cultivation permit, that must be carried at all times or the cannabis is still illegal.

In other words the only ones that can sell, grow and make money off cannabis is the politicians and their buddies who got the commercial licenses. And of course the State whom tax the shit out of it. It’s only legal to make money off of if you are connected, otherwise it is still just as illegal to grow or sell as it ever was. It’s called of, by, and for the government.

So In mass you can sell to a dispensary with a medical card AND at least a small cultivators license and i belive you need a small business license to apply for the cultivators and that would only cover i think 12 plants so it just doesn’t seem worth it… then you got to set the deal up with the dispensary and i assume that’s where this place comes in

That’s what it sounded like to me, a if you will go between the sales and the producer. Adding on a commission of course.

Here in MO it is saturated. There is literally pot everywhere, the dispensers are actually getting with bars and have pot nights to try and boost sales. I’m not sure how they are pulling that off as it is not supposed to be legal in public.

Several people I know that were growing inside quit. They were of course selling, but the market no longer allows making a profit with all the costs, they are selling their lights and entire setups. Another I know who was also selling grew all his outside, and started selling his for $30 a ounce. A little more and it’s going to be down to Mexican dirt weed prices of the 70’s and 80’s. Cept your not allowed the stems and seeds that we don’t need, Acapulco gold is bad ass weed lol. It’s down to $30 for boutique cannabis.

They also now have cannabis infused drinks that they are selling in bars. Made by the likes of Anheiser Bush. It’s always the big boys with the bucks and the politicians.
