Hey pr1, I’m a newbie so take my suggestions carefully! Those look very healthy, I don’t recall any of my seedlings being that bushy so young. I have read that trimming fan leaves should be done when the plants are larger and the large fan leaves are prohibiting light from reaching the lower branches. Where did you get your seeds?
This is a question thread. We can’t respond directly to a post without drama because this is not considered a journal. I’m going to give @Slym3r A shout out and see if he knows how to switch this one or if you should start another. Anyways in response to a couple of posts back, it takes as long to dry as it takes. I try to dry mine for 7 to 10 days most of the time it tried to dry too fast and I need to slow it down. Some places that have high humidity it can take longer. It’s just like how long it takes to finish flowering. There’s no set number of days it’s gonna take. It takes what it takes.
@pr1
I’ve seen you asking questions in several places but I haven’t been able to find a journal of yours. If you start one all your questions will be in the same place and you’ll be able to find your answers again for your next grow. That being said, to your question to trim leaves or not to. First of all just by looking at those plants they look like auto flowers to me. Auto flowers and photo plants are treated completely differently by most people. Are they auto flower or photos?
Yep. Sorry about that! Ill start one before asking anymore questions. I took some big fans, as they were literally covering ALL new growth, top to bottom. Once again, sorry for the “roaming questions”. Oh, they are both photos. Im not a auto guy. I like controlling the transition into flower. Funny you say that, as they are kinda autoesque!
Sorry if i hijacked your thread buddy. Wasnt thinking!!
You guys don’t have to do anything I’m just saying it makes it a lot easier for everybody else and you if you do this. Especially for you guys because once you have a journal set the more you post the more traction you’ll get in the more people that will come by and interact and work with you. And then you have it all in one place. This way we all learn from our successes and failures together and you have a place to reference the information.
Thanks, happily! I bought a nice, small microscope to better see the trichomes. I have just begun two Sour Deisel Autos in rockwool. Amazingly, they germinted in two days.
If you have a Smart phone or an iPhone download Photone (Beta) light meter app from your app store, it’s a free app and it works surprisingly good. It will help to see how much light your plants are really getting.
Thank you!
Should have bought two Durolux 40,000 lumen fixtures off Amazon $37 bucks each. They are cheap and grow great bud, look at my grow log. For the price you can’t touch them. And they don’t grow second rate either.

From the color looks like you need to give less nutes, they look too dark to me. Could just be the lighting.

Mark, tons of great advice above. Maybe this was mentioned but I didn’t see it. Adding a small circulation fan in the tent would help. Your goal should be around 150FPM on the plants so you don’t need much CFM.
