What is causing the stalks at the tips to darken?

I’ve been pHing my water and watering 2 times per week, adding nutrients from FoxFarms every Monday evening watering, and I “think” the plants are in the very early stages of flowering, but i noticed the stalks at the tips of newest growth (about 2-3 inches down from the tips) have streaks of a dark color (brownish purple) in dense spots. The streaks aren’t on all branches, just some, and do not entirely cover the stalk.

Anyone know what’s happening and what might be the cause?

Any help or advice in advance is most welcome.

I believe its magnesium or iron, zinc deficiency. The trace elements enhances the uptake of magnesium.
Might need calmag to supplement foxfarm nutrients.
Foxfarm trio liquids work well I use them myself. I am yet to try the cultivation nation two part regimen solids

I’ve been using CalMag as well as the FoxFarms Trio.

So, maybe iron deficiency…?

Up the dosage of the calmag a bit first, , I use half the recommended amount of the fox farm nutrients.
Last stage up the micro nutrients by 5 to 10% stages.
The purple strip is mild, and will go away once the latter is performed .

Isn’t this a sign of a mature plant? Not all, but some stems turn red of darken just before flower. A sign of a mature plant ready to flower.
