I am looking to upgrade my grow room to make sure no moisture is getting into my walls and was wondering if panda film works well for keeping moisture out.

Yes it does, as long as the seams are properly sealed.

I agree I use tuck tape to do seams I know it’s ugly but way cheaper than the proper double sided tape designed for airtight seal. Both work great tho u have to do both sides w tuck tape if using a single strip of tape per side or the air pressure will pull it apart after a while
