Just a quick comment for the forum…Botrytis (Bud Rot) is a SOB !! (no news there)

If you have an outdoor grow you are better off to soak your budsites with a 500ppm hypochlorous acid JUST BEFORE the rain or high humidity event. This will kill any spores present BEFORE they have a chance to germinate…

Our bud structures are VERY TIGHT, making it difficult to get the acid in all the nooks and crannies.
I therefore update my treatment protocol when spraying for bud rot :

The addition of 1-2ml per Gal of a non-ionic spreader/sticker to your acid will give you a better chance
of penetrating and coating those nooks and crannies ! FWIW

Thank you for this ! I checked my plants today and they look really good and healthy. I trimmed out the very small patch of what I think was the bud rot like two or three days ago. I really got in there and I don’t see any spread . So I’m hoping I nipped it in the butt
