Hey guys,
Was thinking of a small grow. Does a tent keep the smell to a minimum? Are these practical?

Yes tents help control the smell. And using carbon filters and ozone generators you can scrub the air pretty well. I also run an enclosed filter system where i filter it the 1st time then run it through 2 more filters and then passing that through a 5x bulb 12" industrial ozone generator. Tents also make it easy to dial in the environment! My grows external RH is 29% so i need a tent to keep my RH up higher.
Hey @doobeyone
They do help contain the area and a little smell, but like @PreyBird1 suggested you will need a carbon scrubber to clean the air of the smell.
Thanks Chrisj. Iām not sure the kit I found has this filter. It doesnāt look like it
It has a filter. Its a complete kit.
@doobeyone most kits come with what you need to start your grow. Good luck with your grow
LOoks like it does, this is also a good tent kit with a scrubber. Whats the details and price on that one?
$499

I have an 8" ozone generator for the dischargeā¦havenāt used it in years, but I was assured that I will need it on this next grow. It worked well except for that funky smell from the ozone generator, but it does work well when I used it.
Some stuff you just cannot contain. It permeates everywhere no matter whatā¦āmy current situationā¦if it werenāt 70 days Iād dig that thing out and hook it upā¦but I will for the next oneā¦itās just an 8" tube about 18" long and it passes through the ozone generator to kill the odor.
