I can honestly say that I love seeing the new technology flooding the industry. Such amazing new advancements in tech seem to be a never ending flow. Just check out @CaliforniaLightworks & @Black-Dog-LED. I know my own opinion, but what style of lights do you prefer and why?
Currently I’m running @platinumled and very satisfied all around
I veg under some low end LEDs. I’ve got 2 higher end LED fixtures for flowering. A Blackdog Phytomax 800 (original, not the #2), that I’ve been running over a year now. I just purchased a Fluence Spydrx Plus fixture. Should be interesting to see how they compare.
I believe, based on 38 years (-13 1/2 in the penalty box) that we are about to see the next major revolution in illuminating cannabis. There are four companies getting ready to bring High Energy Plasma (HEP) aka Sulphur Plasma Lighting (SPL) to the horticultural sphere.
It appears comes closer to Solar output in its SPD than any other light source I’m aware of. As such it will be the light of choice for those who choose a hearty infusion of common sense with their science, i.e. acknowledge light is waves, therefore subject to wave mechanics as applies to wave interactions.
HEP enjoys all of the best qualities of current generation LED without the eco-disaster inherent in the methods and materials used to manufacture LEDs.
