Granted, this is Trump’s proposal, but it doesn’t look good. It proposes a 18-22% cut to the NIH’s funding and lots of “overhead” cuts in research foundations. Additionally, any agency involved in climate change monitoring (NASA, NOAA, DOE, EPA) will face more severe cuts.

Now, with that said, hopefully Congress will take one look at his proposal and say no. But those are my hopes.
