Good question. We are trying to replicate the sun with lights, yes? And we don’t want to cook our plants in the process, right? If you know that the sun is 30,000 lux for example, then you know that your plants don’t need any more than that. But they can handle it. As long as your light has enough ventilation so that it does not cook them. Going over the limit of sunshine (30k) is not good for the plants. Their genetics are geared for natural levels of light, day and night, and keeping as close to it as possible without going over is best practice.
