So 16/20 of my seeds popped. Just wondering when i should put them in the tent under the light?
One was planted on the 28th & the other group was planted 8/30.
I prefer to keep my seedlings under a low watt light until they have a decent set of roots, and at least 3 nodes of growth @louispicasso. What kind of light are you running in your tent, and are able to dim it?
I have a agro raw 275 4000k led light that’s has a dimmer on it.
It’s so confusing because when i planted them they sprouted crazy in 3 days. Just standing tall out the pot. So I’m wondering how to keep them alive. Did i not put them further enough in the dirt

Ya they need deeper pots and cover those stems. Looks like they are reaching for light now.
I would put them under the lights on 18/6. I put mine under lights from the time they pop the soil.

More than half way up. They really have stretched.

Under T5 as soon as green appears. 18/6 cycle. After a couple weeks and a couple of nodes on the plant, gently step it up by increasing the light-slowly.

Good question … So they just sprouted. First try and get a journal for notes and your own thoughts on the topic. I have a few ideas, but can you please give me some insight on your setup and parameters?

Have they been in complete darkness?? If so thats why they have not opened up… My opinion, you don’t need your big light yet… but dim it way down if you use it… the plants look like they are confused. Complete darkness for too long, and your plants think they are still underground. They wont open, and eventually turn brown and die. I accidentally left some seeds germinating in an empty drawer. 2 weeks later i found them… thay sprouted… long stems…but never opened up…

Do you have a lux meter to see how much light comes through the canopy? What stage of growth are you in ? So I can help you with a few things
