This is going in a 2 in 1 Tent, the main area is 3x3’ (much smaller than I wanted) but I need to scrub as much odor as possible without breaking the bank.
Phat Filter 6" x 24", 500 CFM $102
Phresh Filter 6 in x 24 in 550 CFM $149
Can Lite Carbon Filter With Pre Filter, 6-Inch 24" 600 Cubic Feet Per Minute $149
I’ve read that alot of ppl are using the Phresh Filter and they do seem well made. The Phat Filter had alot of info on their website and it seems like a good filter as well but I don’t see many ppl using them though. I know the filter might be a little over kill, but I’d rather error on the larger one and hopefully get rid of most of the odor. The fan is a AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S6, Quiet 6” Inline Duct Fan (351 CFM). There were some others that I liked but again many ppl seemed to use this and like it so I’ll give it a try. Thx in advance!

Phresh is pretty good IMHO

I run 2 filters if I’m really concerned about smell. I’ll run one as a scrubber that I use instead of an oscillating fan, blowing through the space. I’ll use another inline filter on my exhaust fan. Something like this https://www.hydroculture.co.uk/can-inline-carbon-filters
The brand itself doesn’t really matter - they’re all metal tubes filled with charcoal pellets. Make sure you find a calculator to figure out how many CFM your tent is and how many CFM you need to move through the fans/filters to clean the air.

As long as you get active charcoal filters your.ok. I used to buy them by the roll alot cheaper if you shop around

I’ll prob go with either the Phresh or Phat, I think the Phresh is about 5lbs lighter. If for some reason that doesn’t work then I’ll add another inline filter/fan in the tent. This will be in a room where someone sleeps, so I didn’t want a bunch of nasty odors going on. Hopefully that fan is quiet enough it should be, going to add insulated ducting as well.
The insulated ducting helps. I put a filter cap at the exhaust exit point aswell. Helps on sound and catch’s extra odor. At one point I had a four stage filtration system. Now a days I don’t use them as much since I mainly produce seed.

You can use that yes. Sometimes I just put what ever fits. If I can make it myself cheaper I do.
If you want a quiet fan, use a digital/brushless one. It’s amazing how much more quiet this things are than conventional extraction fans.
I have the AC Infinity fan with the 6” Can-Lite.
