White tips on leafs

Hi guys!

My weed plant is showing some kind of stress but I can’t identify what the problem is. I think it might be overwatering, only thing is my leafs also curled into a boat so I am not sure. Maybe you guys can help me out

Welcome to the growers network. Your lady looks perfectly healthy. You can do intervals of (phed if needed) water to keep tips from burning.

Canoeing is caused by light to close.

I will get a journal check list made up today to help answer anything that may occur.

Love to watch you grow! Slym.

I am guilty as charged with the yellow tips too…it is usually from either over watering…or a small amount of too much nutes.

Yellow burnt tips indicates slightly too much nutrients
The yellowing at the top is new growth still forming its chlorophyll. It should catch up to a deeper green as long as nutrients and watering stay on track

typically, when i am pushing a plant to its limits, i back off the nutes when the tips start to yellow. Given how dark green your leaves are, i’d say give them some plain water with epsom salts next time.

leaves canoeing can also be the beginning of a mild mg deficiency, usually caused by a drop in pH. another reason why i suggest plain water with about a tsp of epsom salts per gallon next

Alright @freakshow mate what does the Epsom salts do?

I’m quite new here myself and I’ve seen a few
People mention using them but no explanation.

Can I have a copy of the journal list please.

I was just about to say the exact thing. It means you’re on the right path.

epsom salts is magnesium sulfate. generally speaking you do not want to give your plants plain RO water. it messes with the ion exchange. So when i just want to wanter my plants in coco, i give them a solution of about a tsp epsom salts and a touch of organic molasses. The epsom is for the plants, the molasses has the sugars to feed the myco and beneficial bacteria in the root zone along with calcium and other minerals for the plant.
