In the decades before cannabis first went legal, then corporate commercial, Mendocino County and its legacy farmers elevated cannabis cultivation to a High Craft, making our region synonymous with the world’s finest smoke. Lifelong best friends and Mendo Locals Mike Strupp and Ryan Birchard met in kindergarten in 1986 and have been learning and growing together ever since. The two have learned from their elders in the biz while adding their own innovations in genetics, cultivation, curing, and processing along the way.
