the install video shows the air filter strapped up to the poles and the light attached to the air filter with ratchets. its only a 60 inch tent. why didnt i look for a 72 inch tall tent

Um that looks weird. Usually the bars used to hang the weight on are above the support pole? Let me check mine.

Ok so here is how its supposed to go. Now mind you this is the 2 in one tent and im not supporting a lot of weight so im not using the cross bars as support But ill explain it.

See this pole has a flat spot before the bend this creates a 1" lower drop which allows the other top pole to sit above it but it is also a support bar. In the next pic ill explain more.

On the left side note the orange extension cord and the pole its on.

Ok there the support bar can move left and right depending where the weight is. As the load bar pulls down the cross/support bar holds it up like a support. In my pic its wrong. The filter in my pic is on the wrong bar for support this makes the pole all bown down can snap it in 2.
you need to make sure a support pole can be under the load bar at all times. I did mine wrong on purpose because i needed more poles to hold more equipment but there on there own poles so theres like no load. And always slide your ratchets to the ends of the poles to help the load. Slide the poles around and grab them pull the other bar(s) down until they touch each other and you will see what i mean. I hope that makes some sense to you @pptrsha1

@PreyBird1 ok i went back and changed the supports. same thing happened. the load bar wont seat with the support bar on the bottom. i tried hanging the light on the load bar thinking it needed the weight to pull it down and seat the ends on the perimeter bars. nope didnt happen. thats why i had them backwards because that was the only way they both sat flush. now

what the heck?

the saddest thing about growing in a little bitty tent is i can only grow 2 plants. my soul is screaming for a whole room. i am going to hang on as long as i can then i will paint that biotch flat white, panda the floor and light that bad boy up. patience is not in my nature but i am trying.

Lol well maybe one pole isnt shaped right. Maybe zip tie the bars together for support. Otherwise i use 2 poles.

I had to use 2 poles in my hydro crunch brand tent. My Foshe light snapped a pole and bent another and its damn lucky i was standing there to catch the light. Its 75lbs. The one thing i hate about the light. Its a Tank of a light!

I tent grow cause it is not safe here. And i can hide smells and things here easier in tents. I have a lot of ozone generators to say the least!! Im in a old orchard neighborhood. Lots of children and families round here. I am chameleon here. Im in plain sight but hidden at the same time. The woods here are scary…in the police state.
