well, we took a vacation day to go to toledo and gamble. i wanted a crazy drink with booze and food i didnt have to cook. i didnt get either. i ended up with a 1099 and had to pay state and local taxes out of my win for the first time ever! they asked me if i wanted to pay federal taxes. WTH? every state that i ever gambled in never asked me that. they just gave me a 1099. is this a new thing?

You don’t have to pay tax on gambling wins in Australia, unless, you are a professional gambler… I’m pretty certain if you won lotto in the US,

Absolutely the Indian reservations… We also have just cards at the dog track… The dogs were made illegal January 1st of this year outlawed by Peta whatever but they’re expanding the card room

As far as I know it’s always been over $10,000. If you win under 10,000 you don’t have to pay taxes. I’ve never been that lucky so I can’t say firsthand. Time ticks by taxes keep increasing. It’s a fact of life!

$750 is the most I won ever @ gamblin. $5 slot machine (if you sit @ $5 slots a waitress serves you free drinks) . Wife beside me, immediately stole my bucket full of $5 tokens and effing disappeared. Sware 2 baby Jesus… I could not find her the rest of the night… God I love her!!! Mostly LoL

A few years ago I was playing those $5.00 slot machines when the machine I was playing on started freaking out… As I waited for the clerk to come and fix things, I started playing on the machine next to it.
The clerk finally showed up and told me I had won the jackpot on the first machine… While I was waiting for her to go and get my money, I won the jackpot on the machine I was playing on…
I had never seen my girlfriend so scared of walking in an empty parking lot to get to my car…
