@jszesq that’s incredible. I had not heard of this and I can check with our CFO to see if they have any addtional information. Do you have access to this? I’d love to read through it. Let me know, thanks!
That’s what I do for a living…you can start with https://abizinaboxcannabis.com/california-cannabis-cultivation/
I just wanted to plug this Growers Spotlight article in - some great information in here from @FlexMOD_solutions.
We are honored to have FlexMOD be our Industry Leader and Sponsor of our Extraction Category! See their banner here: #processing:extraction
Thanks for the information @jszesq I have passed this along to our accounting dept.
In may cases, that deduction is enough to “sell” a project that might otherwise be non-affordable.
It’s super cool that your GreenKoat can be used on floors as well. Most people don’t give enough credence to the importance of flooring in cultivation facilities. Facility floors go through HELL! I can personally attest to the problems that can be associated with flooring and having to re-coat floors between harvests. It could take a normal 48 hour “turn and burn” into a week-long ordeal of coordinating between contractors and staff, all while having ownership wondering why grow rooms are empty. It adds time which harms the bottom line.
About how long might we expect GreenKoat to last on a floor with usual wear and tear?
@Growernick yes, our turnaround time is much quicker than traditional epoxy and you won’t need to worry about VOC off-gassing. Our warranty for flooring is a standard 5 year warranty. However, since it has 98% adhesion and repairs are super easy and effective. In most cases, you won’t need to make any repairs unless you destroy the substrate - say by dropping a heavy tool onto the floor. Traditional epoxies only last a year or two and we have had clients halt production for several days to make repairs on their epoxy. Some of these folks have chosen to go with GreenKoat instead and have been super happy with it’s durability.
I have been one of those folks that had top cease production to replace epoxies… Costly and stressful!
Thank you so much for so many thoughtful questions @GrowersNetwork and everyone!! I had a great time with you all. Please feel free to reach me at wgoodin@flexmod.com for any additional questions. Thanks again!
Well GNET, this AMA had flown by! I can’t believe we are already at our time to close this out. It seems like the conversation is still jamming so if you want to ask questions, we’ll make sure they get answered by @FlexMOD_solutions.
