I am trying the seed back in water with a bit of hydrogen peroxide. Heard that may help it break out. We will see. My heart is breaking but I am still hoping my baby ape makes it. Iāll keep ya posted.

Morning update:
No action on my cups yet. Trying very hard to not over water or over love them at this point.
Unfortunately, l I think my baby ape is officially dead. Decided not to pop another bean and just go with my 5 ladies for now.
Just received the following seeds though for my next adventure:
Gorilla Glue auto
Blueberry auto
White Widow
Purple Haze
Before throwing away that seed, you might want to force it to open by squeezing it gently between your fingers and then try to germinate itā¦ who knows!

If you want to try different things, @docdre has a journal where he tried to revive really old and hard seedsā¦ lots of info and things to try if you feel so inclinedā¦

Okay I pinched baby ape open and could see the coiled taproot which looked good to my unexpierenced eye.
I put it in the paper towel and will check it this afternoon.
I swear if this baby makes it she is gonna be my little favorite.
Keep your fingers crossed.

Well today is day 5 of germ. 5 open out of 6 and 1 sprouted.
@beths I noticed some membrane still on the cotyladonsā¦ Might want to take tweezers or a toothpick and gently pull that off so the cotyladons can open up
