Just fixed my bags. I think I may have had too much water. After watching the video I made sure to drip the excess off the paper towel and I blew air and shut them. I’ll check again in another couple hours.

Germination day #2
Critical Purple (CP) 1 tiny taproot out of 2.
Northern lights (NL) both taproots out.
Grape Ape (GA) 1 taproot out.
Pic 1 is NL
Pic 2 is GA
I got so excited when I seen the CP taproot I forgot to take a pic until she was back under the blanket.

I am a big fan of northern lights right from the beginning, it’s an old strain that keeps ticking year after year.
Critical purple sounds really good, Critical, Critical + are good yielders, I have grown then out a few times, even the auto’s of those strains do good (skunk #1 x big bud)
I have never had the pleasure of Grape Ape, it is on my 100 strains before I die.

Nice let the tap root get a tiny bit longer. If you havent planted it yet.

That looks like a good one. I am waiting a bit longer. From what I have read and seen of all you experts on here the taproot should be at least 1/2”.

That one should be just fine. Just make sure not to manipulate the taproot!

If my ladies have been in the paper towels for 24 hours after being soaked in water and the one grape ape seed isn’t sprouting should I soak another seed or is there still hope?

It can sometimes take a couple days to pop.in the paper towel.

@beths Growers choice has a 90% germination guarantee I’ve had a few that didn’t pop but they replaced them free… Only thing is you pay shipping again… Or what I did was wait till my next order and they included the replacements in that order… They will want proof tho so take pics and log how you germinated

Oh I’m not worried about replacing the seed. The other 5 look amazing. And it may pop yet. OldGuy said might take 2 days. I’ll check them tonight at 9pm and post pics.

Nothing new to report. All have taproots except my one grape ape. Will check it in the morning but the others are getting their cup homes tomorrow.
