No worries dont cut it. Grab it say 4-6" below the light and squeeze the stem and bend it. it will fall over dont freak out. Then the smaller buds will turn and go up to the light. It is supercropping. I did it my las grow because i brought outdoor plants inside and they got to close to the light and got burned. I bent them all over and it was all good. Try and slowly squeeze and bend try not snap it. If you snap it…it will still be ok. I bent one nicely and i snapped one. No difference.

Keep one thing in mind when you bend. it is now a big light blocker so figure out how your going to position it. And you can use strings to pull and “train” your little buds apart and they will turn up to there sun.

Here look at mine. It tipped and almost hit the floor. And i was like ohhhhh shit! I F"d up. But no the plant came back rather quickly. So have no fear on bending if you dont want to squeeze as hard. But it needs to be held down if it goes up to quick. this is why some of the growers use the nets. It keeps the plants down and then the buds turn up and grow up but the stems/branches do not. Im trying to master this. I netted my plants then stuck them into the flower tent.

You can seed the bud that got sun burned. It was the main cola also damn.

I’ve actually been researching scrog method… My net would be super small but hey experimentation is key lol remember I have 2 full blown flowering plants in a 2x2x4 tent lol

I’d look for a light with a glass lens that you can clean between grows and without fans. Having a dimmer is nice, too.
A 315w CMH in a tent that small would provide great light, but you’d need an air-cooled reflector.

That’s what I’m trying to avoid is having to run another fan for cooling… I’m thinking LED style for the most part

Buy 1 quantum board. From niemiled.com
This one is small and does veg and bloom.

Yeah, LEDs are great for a space like yours. A small board and dimable driver and you’re good from seed to harvest. I like having a glass lens because it’s really tough to clean a LED chip, and cheap cooling fans fail fast.

@PreyBird1 that light would be perfect for @scotty17

I set up my filter above the led so it sucks the heat right away! But not to close as to bake my carbon.

Your awesome @devjyarn i forgot to include you in my post earlier on another thread. I think you are a superstar grower. And a great guy for helping out so much. Not everyone has time to help others or even cares to help. I notice most of the people here have a passion for this and i personally thank you!
