Just an update here folks. I LOVE this machine. It makes curing so easy it silly. I wish they made a little bigger unit like a full size fridge sized. I can fill this machine up 3x with one harvest easy. But the speed this machine cures is ludicrous. I usually hang dry 12hrs or one night. The terps are completely preserved and the buds really dont smell a lot until you touch the buds then wow! Its like the terps are sealed into the flower when dried in this machine. And if i forget to go get the buds out of the machine no worries man they are perfectly stored and preserved. Thats why i wish they made a bigger unit like a bakery cart that has like 40 shelves on it. Id buy that big one instantly.
Pros:
1.dries flower in like 6 days.
2. Seals the terps in the flowers.
3. Its pre-programmed and touch and forget settings.
4. Fully adjustable settings for a truly custom machine settings for your flower, cure like. I mean ypu ran really control the R/H.
Coms:
- Small unit doesnt hold a lot. Serious growers drawback
- Buds will get flat from gravity, you have to flip the buds over.
- I dont like having to drain the condensation catch tray.
But overall its a really awesome piece of equipment and if you can afford one i would buy one! One of the best things i ever bought!

Yeah im pretty fond of my brand and im pretty serious about it.
Heres some of my merch. I sold out of everything but a few shirts and 1 large glass tray! Then strainly went bitcoin only and i lost all my sales. And everytime you accepted a sale and even before you got any money for your seeds or products strainly wanted a $2.99 transaction fee up front. So if you accept the message about the seeds and the customer doesnt pay or backs out of the sale they still wanted that fee up front. Im trying to get a website goingā¦But it highly illegal here and nobody wants to help sell your weed related goods. @wow_arizona has been trying to help me set it up and im so very grateful for his help. I work way too much and i cannot figure out how to set up a website. Ive been playing with wordpress trying figure shit out and its very frustrating to understand how it all works. And then trying to do it from a cell phone and not a computer is even more cool. Ha oh well i try.

Spot on with that review. Canatrol is basically plug and play. I wish I had 3d printer would try to make a bigger tray for drain water there is plenty of room.

A little something I Found about Cannatrol
I always went straight directly from cutting down to doing a full wet trim and stick right in machine . Even though cannatrol " recommends " 24 gr hang dry before hand as their best test results. Which the default settings of 68 temp 54 dew point is their best found results .
Now sure also the typical duration of 4 day dry 4 day cure the bud is a shelf stable product which is a water activity level of between .6 - .65 and is smoke able. No doubt itās probably allot smoother at 8 days than any other method other than maybe a harvest right freeze dryer but I never had one of those to have any real say in . But youāll come to find out that just bevausd itās snokabke abd smooth itās still not really a desirable cure yet as there really ix no magic to fast cure buds . Youāll find that the longer it cures in the machine the better it gets. Like around a month or so will be a much more optimum and desirable point for everyone. Which other than the fact I fill my machine as much as I can is why I add 1 more day dry duration and a 10 day cure for a total of 15 days instead of 4/4 =8 days . And thatās when I start bagging up samples to give to everyone cause itās a little bit better cure . Another thing I do which is the whole point why I donāt use my machine and donāt recommend it for people that sell is I break open the buds . Cause here is itād only flaw which isnāt really a flaw itās just an unknown thing that you donāt realize untill you get one. But whatās the first thing people do when they get a bag ? Thatās right they put their nosey as nose in there to smell it. Well what most people donāt know is that awesome smell that we love so much is actually deteriorating and escaping terpenes ! Whereas the way the cannatrol works is extracting the access water activity from inside out instead of outside in and essentially better preserving and "LOCKING IN "

Just try to keep it on a room within the 65-75 and 1 thing I realized is that the " recommended " 2.2 wet pounds is only just that ⦠a " recommendation "! My last run was the first time I ever weighted before putting in and Iāve been putting upwards of 3.5-4 lbs wet in . No problem. No hang dry, just a wet trim and load it up. But of course use common sense. Buds can touch, you just donāt want to stack or force buds in between each other. Donāt put all your bigger, denser , wetter buds stacked in 1 area. Just spread things out nice and evenly. The bigger 1s leave jusf a tiny hair width space for air to get around.
I do a 5 day dry slope to 10 day cure and when thatās done I start giving out samples while Iām just starting to put the other 6-9 pounds into turkey bags after detail trim and hanf drying 12-14 days in 60s/60s environment

all good comments from @prerolls51 ⦠I am on the second harvest thru it and for me it makes a difference⦠I just wish we had more of a detailed manual on the settings instead of just trial and error if we want to change the settingsā¦

Yep it locks the terpines in the buds. And your right you do have touch the buds or squeeze them and break themā¦But the second you do all the smells and flavors are there like it was freshly chopped! Its very very interesting. @prerolls51 i like to hang dry 24-36hrs then put it in the machine. I wet trim it and put the buds on the long stems in the machine. Because i believe and have tasted the differece. That leaving the buds on the stems longer allows the flowers to pull in all the remaining moisture from the stems and makes the flavor is more robust or Richer if you will. If you can dry the entire plant you get the best flavors but the trimming is a pia. I really like the canatrol machine for the quick dry and a half cured but very smokable. But then i put it in a jar for like a week and then i chuck in an integra 62%rh pack. And at about 30 days its really perfect. Ive smoke almost 24 month old buds they were not bad. But if its that old of a bud and it hits the environments normal RH for like 2mins and isnt smoked immediately it will and i shit you not turn to dry dust and crumble. Its kinds wild to see it dry up instantly almost. But i havent tride old buds stored in this machine yet.

Hey, would it be possible to use a hose clamp and tubing to do a drain into a bucket situated st a lower level?

yes you could easily do that⦠I use a turkey baster to suck out the water 2-3 times during the first 36 hoursā¦we are talking about not more than a 1/2 quart in that 36 hours if that muchā¦

This machineās gonna be sitting right next to the freeze dryer on a stainless table. I already have the drain from the freeze dryer going down into a small bucket and I thought I could just use that as a common receptacle for both units.

Yea you can do that. You just have to remember to blow the line out in between runs with the compressed air they give you. I mounted my canatrol on a tittle flat piece of 1/2" wood with super low wheels so i can roll the unit under my work bench in my dabratory.
