Closet Grow

So I have a few plants in the closet and this has been happening. I sprinkled epson salt on the plants so i am not sure if some Powder mold is taking over or i am having heat problems… which is my assumption. I have a fan on them but the fan times out after 2hrs. I plan on getting a tent and upgrade the light in two weeks.

Are you talking about the white chunks in your soil? If so, there’s a 99% chance that is perlite. Do you know which brand you used, or can you look up the ingredients?

The salt will mess with your soil pH level. Stop using it. Get a meter to check you soil pH. You want it as close to 7.0 or a little lower. Get some lime if your out of balance. I’m don’t see what you’re talking about. I don’t see mold or mildew.

I think a pic with a white/natural color light would help.but im thinking i see the epsom salt on top of your soil(melted and crystalized) if you did not dilute in water and ph first then i would say to flush the soil well with a weak nutrient solution that is ph appropriate for your medium.

Can confirm correct

@imSICKkid had the correct answer just give the plants time to adjust. They are coming back around

My plants have gone from the closet, to the balcony and now a tent… which is on the balcony. One of the plants is showing a lil red in the new leaves— whats up with that

I have a gorrila tent on the balcony with the two strawberry banana grape and one green punch. The smaller tent has the Violator Kush.

I would suggest lower the nutes or something those tips are beyond painyed and crispy and in a few of the pics it looks like. Calcium magnesium deficiency but save the money and so not buy call mag right away buy a meter and ph the water to 6.3 to 6.5 calcium and magnesium absorb best between those any power or higher and it can happen if the ne growth still looks like that after you adjust the ph then use calmag

To be honest… the plants started to get dry on the tips while i had the outside. I wasnt feeding them much.

I noticed them leaves struggling a few weeks ago prior to them being placed in a tent and under a grow light. @xgx13xgx

That’s really weird maybe when u sprinkled the epsom salt on the soil it was to much but I had that issue as well was using promix and only shed my water to 6.0 to 6.1 then myvleves started to turn yellow asked a few people here and was told to use calmag then was shown a chart by preybird I think it was that showed where calmag is absorbed best at 6.3 so i upped my ph to 6.3 to 6.5 and all new growth was green as money lol so I didnt need to buy calmag supplement

Temp was reading 95 Degress!! Holy cow!

I learned to use 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 1 gal of water and spray the plant. I would also get some lysol disinfectant wipes and wipe your tent down and the room they are in. Sucks man sorry to hear

Try using dawn dish soap in a spray bottle. Should work well and won’t damage anythingFSUG2xXuqbyYE

First of all get any dead leaves out of the soil cut off any vegitation within a few inches of soil put a fan under there ,lower ur humidity to less than. 50%, and spray soil and plant with calcium bicarbonate or green cure. Continue untill 2nd week of flower;) hope that helps it’s best to use a multi prong attack inho
