If I was shallow and outside my plants would be destroyed… I have whole roots balls roll over in the high winds some days… I never damage a plant just roll the ball… and I am in 30 and 35 gallon pots… I couldn’t imagine shallower roots and big plants at least not outdoors…

I bottom water/feed and found my comfort zone with this method. I do have a pair of autopots but I also use a 5 gallon smartpot in a saucer, with coco/perlite. I water every other day, half to one gallon each.
