This is the ripest seed ive pulled so far!
I also put all the ripeness seed checks into my hand and you can see im like about a week to finish. Usually when the pods start to yellow you have good seed that will grow it just needs a little curing time.

Here is a better group of close ups of the seed pods. As they ripen they yellow and slightly open up. The flash on the phone makes the dark color of the seeds look lighter. But either way there almost done. I might wait another day and try and grow a couple test seeds now that i have a couple that have dried out.

So i used my tiny little pic set to pry the seed shell open just in case it caused an issue. Then i put the tap root in a small hole. I left 1/2" of the plant out of the pro-mix and then i sprinkled about a teaspoon ontop of the seedling to cover it and Lightly patted it down. Then i like to take clonex water from my cloner to water the media to “set” the root from having to move down more and it sprouts out of the media faster. I also soak my paper towel with the same clone juice from Da cloner. So i sprout 95% my seeds this way.

Have you ever had all your sacs be empty? I have read some strains do not reverse well. I followed your tutorial that had previously produced over 300 fem DP seeds. This was a Fruity Chronic Juice. These were pods that fell naturally into the unscreened corner of my trim bin. I see no pollen anywhere. Operator error? I have 2 clones in my mini cloner that are rooted so I’m going to give it another shot. The mother was from a fem seed if that makes a difference. The Durban I did was from a fem seed also.

Never had empty tubes of pollen. But i had a bitch of a time reversing this goji. It actually started changing back to female! Seeds were stupid slow to develop. Also i alway test the pre-flower seeds for 2 things.
- Ripeness/fully developed
- Viability of the seeds.
So ill sprout a couple and then a few more. Usually in sets of 4 seeds at a time only. Because i like breeding in 4x4 tents. 4 plants is perfect and sometimes ill pop in a few guest females for a breeders session lol. So 4-6 plants but if im making small seed amounts i put in smaller females and sometimes cram in 4 more plants so 8 max. And the male always sits in the center. And once a plant is fully (whole plant) pollinated at once. it will make more seeds than if its only polinated on a few buds. A Lot of guys that breed do targeted or selective breeding and there only hitting a branch to get seeds and buds here and there. The plant reacts differently and yields seeds differently. And another thing is that plants that have been pollinated change from resin production to seed production and changes the plants flavor and total thc production. I wish i had a lab with some testing equipment so i could check this out and verify thc samples of seeded flowers and what note. I mean its got me interested AF! Another rabbit hole lets… go down it.
EDIT: i forgot to mention that i tried some of the immature looking seeds first because thats what i usually do and i have 3 seeds do nothing and 1 sprouted normally. So i need to test more of the seeds once the plant dries completely and i can try more of the mature seeds.
