Flowers of the GOTU šŸ’™

What I have learned for my situation. It’s best to limit the pollen getting in the air. So I try to stay away from the shake method. The easiest way to make this possible is clear out and train the pollen sacks to only be on the very top of the plant. The last twelve inches or so, about the amount that you would be able to stick that top into a plastic zip lock bag if you could. Cut the top let it fall in the bag best you can. That’s the best way to keep pollen from spreading. But I also like to cut any of the branches with pollen sacks on them and letting it fall onto some tin foil branch and all. You can do this almost before its actually starts releasing pollen too. Because you want those branches to sit and die while they finish dropping any last bit of pollen.

Oh by the way hello everyone!

I have a ton of fresh stuff started in the greenhouse. All started a little late. Had hopes to take them to the farmers market last month ha. Put in a ton of work on the breed spot. I have a male and six females down there so far. I’ll have to take some pictures of my actual garden. I have Zucchini, Zucchini Squash, Tomatoes, Peppers, and Cucumbers growing real good. Looks like the produce will be here soon. Water got shut off on the farm the last week of June. So I was even able to do a backpacking trip with my buddy that he has been wanting to take me to for years now.

Anyhow that’s a quick update on what I’ve been up to. Happy growing!

Yes Im in the band remember I play the electric cowbell! So yes I’m the guy with the very cool gf. Actually going to meet the whole family in the end of august in New Hampshire.

Oh and I tested my theory about collecting pollen at an early stage right before the plant starts dropping pollen. Will let you know how the results are. Actually happened by a happy little mistake today. I found out the two ghost ship males I put in my breeding room weren’t both males after all. One female one male so why not just back cross them! So I was trying to prolong the pollen production on the male since it wasn’t quite dropping pollen but maybe one or two sacks. In hopes the female will produce more and bigger bud/seed sites. Since I thought that one was a male I trained the branches really hard.

Oh and I would gladly take your offer up on any kind of veggie seed you could give me Miss T. It would be and honor to have and grow your seeds! Plus I collect any good seeds I can get my hands on. Have some of my girlfriends moms columbine cultivar from New Hampshire. I would have to send you some of mine as well! I plan on collecting most all the veggie seeds I can this year.

Ive got some serious competition with these pics man… I’d much rather look at mountains than the ocean but I’ve been looking @ the ocean for 30 years now

I want somewhere I can be within driving distance of either. Trees and grass are a must. Lots of trees and lots of space preferably.

Hello weed peeps!! I haven’t been here in awhile. I hope ur grows are going great!

I had to put the bean-dropping on hold, while we had workers in and out of our house. But I got thru that and dropped seeds the end of July. The seedling stage was the pits (I tend to over water).
So what I have growing on… some fems halfway thru flower (including my first kushes!!) and 9 regs in transition.
3 :banana:Kush, 2 Bubba Kush, 1 Critical Kush, 1 WW, 2 SSH, 1 Acid Rain x Purple Punch, 1 Aloha OG, and 1 Ohelo Berry. Those are the fems.
Then I have my breeding project with RAP genetics: Baharak Hindu Kush x Bog’s Bubble. I have 9 plants. Two are males, three are females, and the other four look to be female, except maybe one. They are gorgeous plants with big fat fan leaves. And my best/stinkiest male has leaflets with 11 leaves!!!
The stalks are wide and sturdy, even on the girls!
If u don’t know RAP, he’s a life-long cannabis breeder (30+ yrs) and has quality weed. He is the breeder who developed Acid Rain which is a MW LSD cross and is divine!

His seeds are $100 for 10 fems or 15 regs. Recently he offered a discount, lowering the price to $65.

He always has really interesting projects going on. Occasionally another breeder named AAA collaborates with him and grows out phenos and mails clones to him/ RAP.

I like to support breeders in our community. And it’s kinda exciting to cash in on his breeding projects! He’s really busy because, as a youngster, he still is employed full time.
But if I have a question or want to show him my plants from his genetics, I can tag him. @rapseed

Supposedly regular seeds create the healthiest, most robust plants. So Im focusing on them till January. Then I will switch to autos until the daylight hours will support photos again.

I heard there was some turmoil on this forum. Every forum has its ups and downs. I think everyone should remember that which unites us. Weed! It’s much more fun to get along than bicker.
And there was name-calling??? Geeeez- that’s beneath u, u stupid jerks!!
Lol ( sarcasm).

Anyway, I guess some people thought I left GN cuz of that. No. I did not. I had left before that ever happened. I left for 2 reasons. One was that I on a long break from growing. The other is that I’m on a private forum, which I prefer over a public one, since I’m in an illegal state.

Those are the only reasons.

I know everyone has their own experience and perspective. But my experiences here have been dookie fresh. I greatly appreciate mods who are actually nice, friendly people.
The Chris’s here have been nothing but supportive and friendly to me. On that other public forum, I forget their name, I saw a lot of bullying going on by the mods. And it seemed like they only befriended the peeps with fancy-pants indoors grow equipment, and looked down their noses at closet/outdoors growers, like me. Yes, I grow by the seat of my pants. But guess what? I get high everyday, and I totally supply myself, and have tons of extra.

So to those other mods I say besa mi culo.
Oops, that wasn’t nice. Change that to ā€œhave a nice fucking dayā€.

Party on Wayne!! @Slym3r (hi Sir Slymy!!)

Hey Loco!! :blue_heart: @LoCoRocK
Im great! Really happy to be growing again.

I went to Alabama for a few days to visit my husband’s sister. She made millions in real estate and is retired now. Lives with her guy in a humongoid mansion. It was great to do something fun after such a long time of covid lock down! While I was in Bama I bought some 190 proof EverClear!

Our next trip is gonna be a brief trip north to see the Fall leaves!

We got the outside of our house painted. It looks awesome! The drywall is done, but we haven’t fixed the window sills yet. Soon we will start painting the interior, gonna do that ourselves.

Also gonna remodel the kitchen and bathrooms. Whew, 3 cheers for home ownership, the projects never end!

Diego is back to taking trees down with his fishing pole! We had huge rain trees that dropped seeds all over, and he got those down. Now he’s working on the China Berry trees. (I hate them! They constantly drop these big ass seeds all over my garden. Glad to see them go!) I love trees, but there must be better choices than these messy ones!

Glad ur doing good Loco!! I hope I can meet u someday!
