Full spectrum quantum board 680 watts

So here is where i will post pics. And parts list for the light im building.
Parts list so far

  1. Frame substraight $45 + 1 set of rails $48- rapidled.com
  2. 4x full spec v2 @ 170 watts each. Budgetled.com
  3. Meanwell surge protector-digikey $9.95
  4. Meanwell driver-Digikey $160
  5. Custom longer heatsinks. $75 each.

The rails for this are way to expensive in my eyes so i just got some 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/16" x 6’ angle aluminum at lowes $8 each.
I cut them painted them. Center punched holes used my drill press and pop riveted the whole thing together.

    Lights going on soon.

Yes the “B” at the end of the driver part# indicates that it is dimmable. I had to special order this driver out of china. It’s not very common because it a high watt unit and dimmable. Was a little tricky finding it and a god damn import tarrif of $23 but these are not available anywhere. But china!
