This year marks my first venture into 2 things, indoor, and hydro! I have had (my first) 2 successful years of growing outdoors, and I wanted to give myself something to do over the winter. I put a plan together, wifeypoo approved and here we are!
I’ll keep this as short as possible so we can get to the good stuff…
I’m in a 5x5 grow tent, with a seperate 4x4 utility tent (used for drying buds, evaporating QWET solutions, and soon to be getting a sprout started). I have a 6" T6 Cloudiness exhaust, fitted with a “Y” style HVAC fitting to allow me to exhaust both tents at once, or just one tent at a time. I bought 1 HLG 320xl kit to start in veg and completed the setup with a second of the same model right before flipping to 12/12. My plant is in a custom built and designed 316L grade Stainless Steel box with, with an easily removable lid for reservoir acces. The lid allows for cross bar attachments to create tie points for easy mainline work. The reservoir is fed oxygen from 2 4x2 airstones and I also have 2 small clip fans running for airflow. I am using fox farms nutrients, including their water soluble bloom line, as well as, FF Bembe, Humbolt’s CalMag, and Hydroguard.
Following on my successful summer grow (3x 10ft Blue Dreams) I decided to jump right into an indoor setup and had all the components ready by the beginning of September. Decided on a 2:1 CBD/THC strain, CBDutch Treat, and had a sprout in rockwool on 9/5.
That’s the skinny of it! More details than I could ever start to fill in, inbetween all posts…im approaching 50 days of 12/12 and they are getting juicy!
Is that a fuel cell ur using. Sweet job indeed. Looks nice. Ill b following along. Man maybe i should start a journal instead of journal hopping all the time lol
Im planning on cleaning up some of the lower branches that are growing down in the lower left of this picture.
Only 1 or 2 of them are worth it to tie up…always something to do in the tent!
Today I took the slack out of the flex pipe i had running to my drying tent and used it to make a proper intake. On the opposite side of the tent here, where the pipe lays on the floor, is a dehumidifier dropping nice conditioned air behind the tent.
