I just found some bud rot in the skittlez plant, I cut most of it away, luckily not too much.

What’s the best way to fight this ? I lowered my dehumidifier settings a bit more… Again really tempted to harvest as soon as possible.

Use Hypochlorous Acid! Here is a thread on it.

Well been quite a discovery tonight, found some more bud rot. Not a lot, but just enough to make have to cut away a main top of one of the gelato’s. Upon cutting it away 2 seeds fell out of the top… !!!

Out of the small top I cut away I got 11 seeds !! So I am guessing the hot temperature and humidity caused too much stress. I did suspect on top of changing gender, but cut that away. Looking at it now, I think I will have more then enough seeds for the near future :frowning:
Hoping I can salvage some buds between the rot and seeds…

I did discover my dehumidifier fills up quickly and stops working (as it should), but the container for the residue water is too small so its basically not working 60% of the day. So will figure out a way to connect it to a drain for the next round.

Forgot to mention that I will be cutting down everything tomorrow… Anything I need to do with the seeds ? Have them covered in paper in a dark place to let them dry…

I think I can see the seed in this top …

Air movement is your friend, 24 seven. More fans. Not blowing in one spot unless it’s above the canopy or below the canopy making it circulate the tent. An articulating fan is the best blowing from bottom and top of the plant moving side to side, constantly causing movement of the plants. If you’re not able to get your humidity down, this will help immensely. In the fall I have problems outside sometimes with Bud rot. I put very large fans blowing on my plants. This helps a lot. It prevents the moisture from settling on the plants. HCO is your friend. Use the little magnifier in the corner to look it up. you can buy a generator for somewhere around 100 bucks if I recall correctly. Don’t quote me on that. This will kill any mold or Bud rot problems you have, but it will not keep them from coming back because the spores are everywhere and chances are it will come back the same way it did the first time and it won’t remove the dead spores. But it will take care of everything that is active at this moment. You can also use it for sanitizer pretty much anything. :v:t3:

Someone already recommended you try HCO previously If I recollect correctly.

I just spotted this in the above picture. You might want to look at this plant really close. Looks like the beginnings of a late in flower Herm…

Yep that’s the one I initially noticed it on … I think that is patient zero. Going to cut them down tonight, I a m half way through week 9 of flower. Going to consider this round a great learning experience.

I will definitely get that for the next round and look into that machine.

The humidifier I have does the job great for the tent, its the reservoir that’s too small and therefore its not working half the time.

Dumb question but I can I trust these seeds coming out these plants or these now prone to be bisexual as well ?

:man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:… It depends on who you ask. They will all come out female more than likely.
Personally, I don’t grow any bag seeds. I don’t need to. And I rather not spend all that time growing something I’m not sure of. That’s just me. There’s a whole lot of people out there that do grow bag seeds. You do you. :+1:t3::+1:t3::+1:t3::v:t3:

I also feel a bit hesitant to use, I might give them away to a friend with a clear warning

Ladies have been chopped and are hanging up side down in the dark tent. Trying to keep to the 60/60 rule, maybe a bit lower on the humidity just to be safe

Well the score is in 271 Grams or 9.55 oz for my non metric friends !

She definitely had some seeds in there, which I am really bummed about, guess the stress made her change sex. 1 plant from the previous post had the most and she effected the plant next to her as well. The other two (1 skittlez and 1 gelato) were fine. I removed I think most of the seeds, but for sure there are some in there… Lesson learned, on the next round.

Hope the seeds don’t effect the taste/smoke too much, but guess we will find out. Have visitors coming end of August, so have to wait till then to start the next round. Going to be Do-Si-DOS.
