Sounds like you found your issue. The lights have to be stable and timed correctly or thats what happens. Those medigrow light weren’t very good at all. But you did an amazing job despite the light issues nice work. And it was a good thing the light issue didnt stress any one out and cause them to hermie.

I did plastic but left the top opened in spots for air to get in but not alot. If u do it can u be able to feel the buds daily for a couple days. Paper is better but plastic works just keep an eye on the buds if they feel like they r getting moist again i jad ny cic plants i sprayed in a pull string qhite plastic bag for a month or more just open at the top pollen seems to look great but qe shall find out soon enough.

Ok everything is in either paper bags or Grove bags.
I hope this doesn’t mess up the cure.
Monkey Slapz is at 57% humidity after 6 days drying. Stems are still wet but buds are dry… Doesn’t make sense.

The paper bags are only for sweating the moisture out of the buds if you leave it in there for more than a 12-hour period without checking it you will take the risk of ruining your crop it will suck all the moisture out and they will be bone dry I would take all of the buds off of the stem and store them on Grove bags so that it will hold moisture and breathe or I would stay home and finish my crop that way it doesn’t get ruined
sometimes a farmer’s got to put things on hold to tend to the crop

Yep you have to monitor the moisture levels in drying and curing. Before i bought my cannatrol machine i used to hang dry for 1-2 days then i would remove the buds from the stems and put the buds into cardboard boxes lined with parchment paper. This way i could control the humidity better than paper bags. Curing/drying and storing are important steps.

Well I’m burnt out for today and I still have to finish trimming tomorrow. It’ll be Grandaddy Purple and Monkey Slapz in the morning.
It took me since 9 AM to trim 2 of 4 strains.

If you keep growing big crops like that a trimbowl will be well worth the money once you get everything bucked off the stem you can go through a few pounds in 40-50 minutes

Bowls work better for wet yrim itll trim close enough that when dry the leaf that didnt get trimmed will shrivel up and not much be seen if done good enough. It is def bot something for larfy buds tho let me say that. If u bowl larf u may as well just hash bag it and wash it all lol. I jad my first run was some larft autos and man the bowl ate it up like most just right thru the screen and chopped. I pressed out most of it when it dried but had trimmed all big leaves off then washed it all i did a ton of fresh frozen stuff thru the wash bags and had a massive jash ball but i dont smoke hash i dab

They work great for dry trim to
then you have all the kief
instead of just a sticky mess
much easier this went thru trim bowl roughly 8-10 turns of the handle in each direction less is more when using the bowl trimmers
