This is not true. You can feed a plant all kinds of numbers. Genetics are the main factor, then temps when it’s comes to airy fluffy bud.
Right on. I’ve been doing my best to keep temps under 80.
Those are the big 3, just have to use them at the right time of growth. Cutting down on the nitrogen during flowering for example.
Ok, yes I only have 5-13-0 in the CoM Buds and Blooms and 2-0-0 in the Cal-Mag. Flower Fuel has 1 for Nitrogen as well and Incredible Bulk is 0.1 for Nitrogen.
That’s also why I chose Jack’s Part A zero nitrogen formula. 0-12-26 because ChittyChittyBangin advised me to not add anymore nitrogen than I had with Buds and Blooms.
@PreyBird1 @jj520 @sdoyle is defoliation at this point helping or hurting? I see many guides saying to defoliate at 3 weeks into flower and I’m at 4 weeks.
I just want to get the maximum yield.
I’m a believer in good defoliation gives more light to all of the bud sites more like equals bigger denser buds to a point you don’t want to over do it but I like to be able to see the tent bottom through my canopy so I know everything is getting good lighting
Right. Last time I believe I defoliated most of the way through and I had good size buds but they were nothing like the 20 Oz bottle size that I see some people getting.
I really don’t even clean up on a certain schedule when it looks like it needs cleaned up I cleaned it up
Most people that get the 20 oz bottle size colas they only get one or two of those per plant maybe three when you do training you split it all up so there’s a lot more buds and it’s all genetics dependent some have tight node spacing they grow big buds some have further apart node spacing they get smaller buds
Ok good points. I will try to keep giving them space for light penetration and air movement.
It’s the light cycle that changes the hormone responses from foliage to bud production.
Exactly @Slym3r said the plant has some interesting abilities. The photo recptors are one of them. The plants can tell what time it is by the light cycle. They can determine when the light gets shorter in the days of fall or whenever we change the light cycle. This is how we revege photoperiod plants. We trick the plants photo receptors into believing its the wrong season to be blooming and it reverts back and revegetates to the correct growing phase to the light cycle it’s currently growing in. Auto wont do that because they are breed with ruderalis some scientists accept it as it own species
"Quote
Cannabis ruderalis is a variety, subspecies, or species of Cannabis native to Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. It contains a relatively low quantity of psychoactive compound tetrahydrocannabinol and does not require photoperiod to blossom. unlike C. indica and C. sativa ). Some scholars accept C. ruderalis as its own species due to its unique traits and phenotypes which distinguish it from C. indica and C. sativa ; others debate whether ruderalis is a subspecies under C. sativa
Flowering Day 26
I defoliated most of what I could reach. Just the big sucker leaves. Now they have some room to breathe.
Flowering Day 27
Good afternoon growmies!
They got the heaviest feeding so far today. We’ll see how they respond.
Monkey Slapz
Grandaddy Purple
Blue Dream
Sour Diesel
They look great right now. Doing a fine job. Dont over stress any of it.
Thanks @Mark0427
Flowering Day 29
I’m going to feed BudBuster Pro as a drench once a week and see how they like it. I bet it will pump up the buds.
They look great man.
Thanks @Mark0427 I’m liking what I see so far.
Nice full canopy lookin good
