Nice. Whats ur method for thinning concentrate to make carts. Ive tried using 1g of pressed concentrate with i believe it was 2ml of liquidizer it smoked good but it seemed to crystalize in the cart like maybe i didnt mix it enough for it to stay bonded or not enough heat. I hand mixed it to try a batch and if i liked it i was gonna get the magnetic stirrer with heat plate ect. But it seperating and like crystalizing in the carts made me not wanna try again yet. Lol. I only do voncentrates or carts. Flower ill hit a joint to taste it in flower form but i much prefer the dabs or carrs dabs being my num 1. Lol.

If you want to flavor it use this.
This keeps the lipids thinner. You can use both or one or the other.

Yeah i used i believe it was pure brand liquifier and some cheese terps that were crazy priced. Lol. Its like 1/2ml was like 32 bucks. I dont care for the cheese terps its more like a eine taste to me mow i smoked some cheesequake weed years back. Killer shit was kinda hoping the terps would have been more like the weed i smoked. I want subcools version of the cheesequake all i seem to find is fems and i kinda want regs of this if i can get them but fems will make me happy if it is anything like what i smoked years back.

I use Terps from BVV.
They have a selection from a couple different suppliers.
I do not use any of the glycol thinners in any way shape or form. The only way I thin my solution is through terpene introduction.
I do use a magnetic stirrer that has a heated plate for emulsification

Yep i try not to use anything really i like the carts with just the rosin decarbed and added to the cart as soon as i get it off the press and i squirt it right into the carts. I have made 2 carts using the glycol thinner on one and the glycol thinner and terp flavor on another cart.

Getting closer! Learning the freeze dryer aspect, running peaches and strawberries. I hope to freeze dry the first load of hash Wednesday or Thursday.
Prepping every aspect before then
The four-layer insulating wrap has been fastened and a closure created with Velcro. The mixed color buckets are actually in a state of “pre-cutting“. On the top of each stack, there is a model piece for length for being able to stack different micron bags together at a graduating level without allowing the different amounts of liquid to lay within the next lower level of the micron bags and the slurry suspension. Because the washing machine holds about 5 gallons of fluid and my modification allows it to go to 6 gallons, by having two sets of buckets with the the same micron screen, graduation levels, you can quickly empty from your machine without having your product laying in water for an extended period of time. I have two “ale, pale” buckets for making beer and wine that are actually slightly over 6 gallons each and have graduations printed on the side of them. They will be utilized for my bottom catch buckets. All of the buckets are food grade. I have a handheld heat gun to be able to check the ambient temperature of my washing liquid. That will let me know whether I need to add more ice, remove ice, let ice melt, or run it.
I’ve successfully done bubble hash before. However, looking back on how I did it versus the refinement now and a greater depth of knowledge, I expect to have a much greater return in a finer product.

I’m not sure which 2 x 4 tent, but I get all of my lights up to 100%. I use a par meter and adjust so I can keep my DLI close when I go from veg to flower.

I’ve been saving a little bit of money for a long time. My kid in California has one and what he was producing was just amazing. I’m really excited about the new adventure.

Made the mistake of turning mine up to like 90% first grow and burned everything up. In flower what is the distance between ur canopy and light height

I do have my lights up to 100%. I watch for any sign of any bleaching of the tops of the pistils or any curling of the end of the leaves.
Right now I have two 4x2 tents in flower. One has an HLG 350 R Diablo with two Rapid LED UV/IR pucks. The other has a KIND LED 420 with built-in IR/UV. Both of those are about six or 7 inches from the top of the plants. They are at day 24 of flower, respectively for both tents. I can take a very precise measurement on both of them tomorrow. Right now, they are sleeping.

Looks like no hash until Sunday.
Added a simple ball valve to the end of my drain so it’s much easier to work everything.
when my wash exits the machine, it will go through a 220 bag that is enveloped over the end of the drain by hose before it hits the rinsing/washing station. That is four different graduated micron bags (190, 160, 120/73? , 45) in cut off buckets so they never rest in water with each other. The large red sprayer is for washing each progressive layer to eliminate contaminants and foam. The small red bucket is my refining station that will be used before loading into my freeze dryer trays, I have a small hand sprayer for getting my slurry to the proper 60/40 ratio. Finally, a third station with two buckets with 25 µm bags. I have two reservoir buckets into which I will pour the wash from the multi µm bag set up. My experience in the past showed that everything poured readily through the 1st µm filters however, the holdup was always the 25. That’s why it will have its own station.
All of my bags are complete mesh.
