So each light on left and right is 200 watts, the one in the middle is a full spectrum grow with a toggle that you can switch between full spectrum, blue and red lighting, but I can’t remember the wattage so let’s call it 425 watts to be safe. The photos of the plants I showed prior were gmocookies auto, and one feminized blue dream. I created a dark room in my closet for the 12/12 flip. Which I’ll be doing similarly for this grow just with nutrients this time, the plants you saw were fox farm soil and tap water one bulb and the sun .

Nice If they’re true 200 watt lights each that should give you pretty good wattage just a lot of times the cheaper lights like to tell you they’re one thing when they’re actually another
They need the right nutrient regimen as well definitely

Well im sorry you felt discouraged. I was not try to discourage you at all. In fact i was just informing you about the lights. And i always helped people here in the forum. I cant tell you how many people i give things to so they can grow better. I started growing with no equipment in 98’ and im ashamed to say i stole lights from churches to make my grows back then. Im not proud of shit. I was mearly trying to tell you we would help you. But i can see i offended you and for that im sorry. Well i have wasted money on shitty lights and i have really high end lights. And i prefere to build my own lights. Try and use the magnafying glass up top type in what your after and it will filter out the closest threads to what you searched for. And i like hlg equipment because it high quality

I agree, first go around I had a 16 oz bottle of tiger bloom from fox farm for 5 plants. If you have any recommendations in that department. There’s a couple starter packs on the growers network I was researching lotus, raredankness and the fox farm dirty dozen.

I am very new to growing anything and have no friends but have read over 1500 pages on the topic because it is an addictive hobby for sure. I use Jack’s nutrients you can get some kits on ebay that people break down from bigger bags and they’re very affordable it comes in dry salt form you mix it there are a few different ratios but it is probably one of the most affordable and I believe best nutrients on the market just because it’s a dry three-part you can change up the ratios
Master blend is pretty good as well I use their zero nitrogen formula for after stretch in flower check them both out you will need part a and b and epsom if you choose to go that route I used them as a 4/2 mix and I don’t use Epsom

Cool thank you very much I’m currently using this stuff called bio noot, until I can find what, I want if this stuff wasn’t 15 bucks for something that only mixes 3.5 gallons of water, I would use it all the way to flower seems to work really well

You can use a few led bulbs, TBH most led bulbs are the same, some a little more effective but you can get the same results using cheap led bulbs vs the best grow light on the market, in general I would only use bulbs with a colour temperature between 2700k and 6500k, its more about using 20-40w ft2 at the right distance,
take time to master but you can get there.

Most LED diodes are definitely not the same there are huge differences there there’s older style LEDs and there’s 301 h or b LEDs that are very good there’s also newer plant centric diodes there are newer Evo diodes there are mint white diodes there’s a huge difference in all of those diodes

TBH I don’t really see the difference, when I look at the results, have you done a side by side test, I flowered some plants off a few years back, leds one end and hps the other end, the results were the same, no difference
my plants are receiving about 25w -30w ft2, house hold bulbs, grown in cheap dirt with dry plant food from my local garden centre, the only things I have from a grow shop is the rvk fan, filter and the carbon filter
here my 2 plants about a week in flower, small ones about 90cm wide and the large ones 1m wide,

You can definitely veg a plant under anything but when it comes to getting some nice dense solid nugs you’re not going to get that with cheap LED lighting what LED lighting did you use when you compared it to your HPS

Got the idea off migro a few year back, added reflectors to direct the light on the canopy, the reflector helps to cool the led down making them even more effective

So in total for.buying bulbs and the fixtures to hold the bulbs what would u say u have in cost wose on just the lights and fixtures to run the lights. I see a decent bulb for growing is like 30 to 50 bucks thats using a bulb with a decent diode on it ive seen a few run setups like this and cost wise was almost as much as it would have been for them to buy a good grow light a led grow loght and a led bulb even a grow bulb will not give u the same return product there is no way. Even blurple lights tend to work better than most bulb style and a blurple dont come close to putting out a bud like a hlg loght or spiderfarmer light does. I know i have multiple 10 or vetter blurples ranging all kinds of watts and none even all added together could do what my scorp diablo does ur grow looks great using them but if u took a good rated led grow l I ght and grew one qith that and one with bulbs im pretry certain u r gonna get a difference the led light qill have a more compact bud and will prolly jave more frost and more size as the light will penetrate the leaves a bit more than a bulb will do. Im not knocking any setup just giving my opinion runnong lights of all sorts and the led grow lights good brands spank any of the setups out there even hps imo
