Humboldt Seed Company's Hi-Biscus, Magic Melon, and Royal Highness DWC/LED

I would get your money back on your nutrients @sssportsmfg. They shouldn’t be coming in that low of a ph. AN has a 100% satisfaction garuntee. I’ve used it many times over the years. Just got my money back on a bad bottle of Piranha.

Ty I emailed them last week and very politely listed all my tests, on my RO water and then after the PH perfect nutes, I tested Connoisseur, Sensi, and GMB all three. Send them my results, and asked them what I was doing wrong or what reason for the way out of whack PH numbers and never even got the courtesy of a reply.

So, so much for that.

Hi-Biscus

My camera on my new phone sucks! So I’m finally buying a nice camera to get better pics. These buds are super frosty and very fragrant. It’s a woody cherry smell, with a hint of earth that is all very pungent. :+1::+1:

I would call grower support and talk to them @sssportsmfg . But you have to get your refund from the people that sold them to you. If you bought on Amazon it’s real easy. I use Discount Advanced Nutrients and they take a little more effort. They just ask for your original sales receipt and explanation of what didn’t go right.

Ty,
You only do dry trim?

That’s no problem I bought them all off amazon and have the order records. I know my RO water is good, it tests out perfect. I know my PH meters are good, they test out perfect too, both read the same both go back to 7.0 with the cap on and the 7.0 reference solution in the caps. I can’t imagine the nutes are old, heck some of them are getting to be out of stock and hard to get.

Guess I will just do what I can and hope for the best. Then there is the thing where some people are just not cut out for certain things…like me and Hydro lol.

Thanks for all your kind help and time !!

Yes, only dry trim. I use my trim to make oil so I don’t want to disturb my trichomes till I’m ready for them.

Did wet on my first 3.
Did some reading, and found out that dry trim can affect the smell and smokability.
Boy did it ever. Might be more of a pain, but dry trim was a huge difference for me…

I totally agree @Jimhigh66 Dry trimming is the way to go. I’ve done it both ways in the past and I enjoy my flower that’s dry trimmed way more!

It might be in my head… Or the really potent herb I grow, but it also seems like the cure process is expedited…
Could be that I am just impatient, and high😁

After working with my plants I have sexed 5 out of 6. 3 female, 2 male and 1 unknown.
So I will scratch cloning all of them to sex. But I will take 8 female cuts. I doubt I’ll grow them but I’ll give them to some local brothers and sister growers.
Lights are still on18/6 hrs schedule.

I will refer to all plants by number. I went around the tent clockwise starting at 11 o’clock.

Plant 1. 11 o’clock
Female

Plant 2. 1 o’clock
Female

Plant 3. 3 o’clock
Female

Plant 4. 5 o’clock
Male

Plant 5. 7 o’clock
Male

Plant 6. 9 o’clock
Unknown today. But I bet I see pistils popping out in 36-48 hrs.

         Hi-Biscus

Just finished a 3 week cure on my Hi-Biscus buds. I love this strain. Theirs 2 phenotypes. 1 that is all cherry flavor from it’s Zkittles lineage. Then 1 that definitely tastes and smells like Blueberry muffin, it’s other parent.

I filled up a gallon jar with average sized, dense nugs. Then filled 3 32 oz jars with partially kiffed b buds.

Thanks @fan0_man954. My Magic Melon plants have amazing flavors, but I grew them under a smaller light so I was a little disappointed in the fluffy buds I got. I’ve started new plants and they will be grown in my flower tent under my SP3000.
One plant tastes like an overripe honeydew, and the other is more like a cantelope flavor and smell, with an earthy taste upon exhale.
