Day 182, Nov 23, 2023
Day 90 from the flip.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This super long grow has come to an end! I chopped her down today and hung her out to dry.

Buds are fat, heavy and stupid sticky.

Really kinda clueless why this one took so long. BUT again, this was from a bag seed.
My next grow, I’m going to actually buy some seeds. Been curious about Runtz.

What breeder would you buy? I love exotic genetics. If you want to try some Runtz i made back from 2017 id send ya a few.

“What breeder would you buy?”

At this point, I have no idea! I’ve actually never looked into buying seeds up until now.
My inital grow kit came with a pack of GSC, and after that I just grew from clones or saved bag seeds.
So I have some research to do.

But I’d def take some runtz!

Final Post - Closing Out this Journal.

Day 193, Dec 3, 2023
Day 102 from the flip.

Trimmed and contained and ready for curing.
Got a total of 4.25 oz
Most buds fairly small in size - but not all popcorn.

Surprisingly beneath each bud I consistently found a single pollen sack or seed.
From this grow, I netted a dozen seeds from the White Wedding - so I hope this stuff comes out good after curing!

Although it has been over four weeks since harvesting the outdoor grows of Wedding Cake and 413 Diesel, they still smell grassy. I now believe that I had initially over-dried them.

Final Thoughts:
A long, slow grow that yielded OK Results. Nothing super problematic came up, and I was surprised with the bounceback with placing plants outside. But these were also all bag seeds, and so each grow was a bit of a gamble I guess.

While I am confident in my methods for growing in coco coir, next grow I will likely slow down and start
trying to be a little more accurate with things. This grow, I didn’t once measure Ph or EC values.

I am curious about other methods for growing - my friend has a DWC setup he said I could try out, but I have nowhere to drain water in my basement. With the coco, I’ve just been vaccuming up the runoff with my Bucket Head wet/dry vac (small vac that attaches to a 5 gallon bucket. 30 bucks at home depot. I love it.) The other I want to consider is ‘living soil’ - but I need to do quite a bit of research on that. I’ve also been told by my local hydro shop that there is BIO365 soil that doesn’t require any additional nuts, just water. Many options to think about.

One thing for sure though, is next grow, I will certainly plan to do some cloning.
