…Lol… Rob reincarnated
He has more pucks, and a driver. He can’t even cry broke, just that he needs two identical spaces lol.
You are the man, thank you for taking the time and effort. Truly appreciative!
Hey Gang of growers!! I’m Steve, many here know me, many I suspect, do not. So this is me: I’m 58 and have been a chronic user since age 15. I grew for many years in the late 80’s through '98. Primarily indoors but a few attempts at outdoors. My indoor grow op was destroyed by my ex when we divorced in 98 so I moved to Maine, found a solid guy and was forced to buy weed every payday. Luckily, I’ve had a decent job for many years.
In November 2016, Maine voted to legalize recreational use and cultivation. I was growing by March of 2017 and have not stopped. I am allowed 3 mature plants and unlimited veg/seedling plants. I have maximized those amounts through the use of autopots and have on average, had very nice harvests. I’ve got 6 strains available to use currently and have 5 strains growing currently. I have an outdoor Pineapple Haze Fem that went into the ground one week ago. I also have a gorilla glue auto about to go outside. Indoors I am growing Northern Lights, White Widow and Train Wreck autos, all three in autopots.
I am still learning every grow, I am slowly improving my equipment and most recently purchased a 320w QB from HGL with help from friends in the ILGM Lab. When not in the grow room, I love to golf, hike the mountains, fish, eat, snowmobile and the Mrs. and I are looking for a Harley we can tour around on!! Thanks for listening! I’m looking forward to looking around and getting acquainted with you all. Thanks for having me!!
Thanks for sharing Steve! Glad to have you!
Hi Steve
Hey Steve welcome to the community, glad to meet you
Welcome over here @screwauger…good to have you…
Good morning!!
Just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Packee and I’m very excited to learn and share knowledge to help us all better our growing skills.
I’ve been growing on and off for the last 10 years, only recently getting back into it.
Currently I’m an indoor grower that’s just starting my first outdoor this season in no till live soil. I’m somewhat of a DIY person and have build a few aero cloning / growing systems.
Cheers,
Packee
About time you made it here @Packee…lol…
I only recently found this side of GN, and now I’ve crossed over from the other side (herbert_ashe on the other GN ste). I’ve been growing for about ten years. I’m a hobbyist - and tho I have worked in the industry, my passion is smaller grows. I’m pretty much organic indoor, tho I like to step outside when the weather permits. I"ve just moved into a new space and trying to work out all the kinks and bumps (I just got some Green Lacewings from @Arbico to deal with a whitefly issue, for example )
Always an adventure. Looking forward to learning form you all.
Hello All.
Hello growers, I’m excited to finally being able to learn more about how the professionals grow their cannabis. I have never grown myself but I was having a hard time deciding a career path about a year ago and I just thought that maybe going into the cannabis industry as a dispensary owner would be cool especially since the states are looking at federal legalization sometime in the near future. However I’m not really fond of business handling and I knew that cannabis was more than a business to me. I thought then that maybe I should become a grower instead and all the learning I’ve done then from seed germination to propagation, veg, and my favorite, flowering has really made me see cannabis for more than just a plant. My goal is to become more than a master grower cultivating from season to season, my goal is to spread cannabis advocation and medicinal use across the globe. That’s just my ultimate goal, my goal for now is to get my foot through the door and work for a grow operation even if I’m just starting off as a trimmer. That enough about myself, I can’t wait to learn from all you growers out there, I have my growing notes journal out right now and I can tell you right now that all this learning I have ahead of me is going to be a blast. Happy growing ya’ll!
It is so nice to have you here! I am Cheryl, btw, nice to meet you and I can’t wait to grow with you and apparently help you with your goal, as it is the exact same one as me!!! LOL, again, welcome!
Hi All!
I’m Fred from Cape Town in South Africa. So excited and grateful to be part of the GN Community.
Here is South Africa growing for private use has been legal since September 2018. Recently the sale of CBD containing products has become legal, but there are only 3 licenses (in the whole country of almost 60 million people) that have been granted to grow medicinal cannabis (Big Pharma).
Hoping for the day that it licenses are freely available.
I’m here to learn as much as I can!
South Africa, Fred, that’s amazing! I would love to chat just about your life someday! Welcome and I can’t wait to get to know you and grow with you!
Hello, I’m tokin
Long time member of several community forums like overgrow, cannabisworld, and icmag before the legalization effort took off. I’m from South Carolina, a non med/non rec state and it’s depressing. I found this forum while searching for job opportunities within the field. I am a felon and that makes the search that much more difficult but I am resilient and will troop on.
My research into the field has led me to California as a state of choice, mainly due to state laws that would prevent people such as myself from entering the field. I’m not able to post a new thread or reply to any in the classified jobs section, but if any potential employers see this post, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Over the years I have manage to grow a network of friends and colleagues that are some of the tops in the business. With several successful grows under my belt and experience with virtually all grow methods, I believe I would be a valued asset to any forward thinking canna company. I have an industry specific resume on hand and would definitely relocate for the right opportunity. If you are that company or know of any that may need assistance with their operation, please put us in touch.
