Introduce yourself!

Hello from Missouri

We are a diverse group that is in the application process. I am on the branding and marketing with a passion for cultivation.

As a group we are all very passionate about the cannabis business. We vary in age from 40 - 67 years young. We have quite a bit of combined experience in the business but we are always learning.

GN is a wealth of information. I look forward to helping any way I can. I really like the community feel on here.

Thanks for letting me be a part.

Welcome to the party, @RCB! Firstly: thanks so much for your service! Secondly, I love hearing stories about others who have managed to minimize the use of prescription drugs with the use of cannabis. Thanks for being real about your experience. Honesty like that has the power to impact many lives!

Good luck with your Colorado grow. Where in CO are you siting your operations?

Welcome to GNET, @RickC! What makes your video content stand out against the competition? What makes your brand unique?

@Growernick thank you for the encouraging words and I appreciate your support. My grow operation will be in Moffat Colorado, southwest of the springs.

No kidding? You’re less than an hour away from my land in CO. Next time I’m up there we’ll have to burn one down.

Oh fur sure! I am not a fan of scorching sun either, so Colorado calls when it gets hellishly hot here. But it’s a dry hate. :fire:

Hi Growers Network Family!

I am really excited to be here! A little about me, I have a heart for service. I chose to take a career in my younger years in the Hospitality industry. Spent a good 15 developing customer service protocols, employee recognition programs and was charged as the official IHG Brand Specialist and Brand Influencer for an IHG property in the Chicago burbs. We held # 1 ranking in our Geo Group for a good 6 of those years so this was definitely my thing!

I exited the hospitality industry with a nudge and the support of my dearest friend and business partner, who was already making waves in the cannabis community. Totally focused on education, awareness, legalization and leading compassionate programs to help low and no income patients receive their choice of medicine. We formed our LLC and down that journey she developed the worlds first Multi Symptom Eye Care Solution that uses the cannabis derived cannabinoid, CBD. We started to change peoples lives and not a day goes by that doesn’t fill us !

During this journey we met Sandra @cannabizopps. We turned to here during an ENOUGH IS ENOUGH moment with a “broker” deal and well…after all of that jumped right into CBO to support, stand and take charge with the vision and the mission!

In short… we are here to improve the business purchasing transactions within the cannabis and hemp markets while establishing benchmarks and standards in the supply chain. This means a WHOLE LOT OF EDUCATION and I cannot think of a better place then the Growers Network to connect with on that journey!

Hi everyone my name is Chuck i am a caregiver in the Michigan Medical Program. I have been growing for about 8 years and the last 6 years by myself. I grow year round both indoor and outdoor. The short days of summer in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula make outdoor growing difficult as we all know. I had a TBI 16 years ago and been dealing with seizures for all these years. Pot became of interest to me as an alternative to all the Meds i was taking for the seizures. Many of them put me to sleep and i required naps. I am now down to only one Med (Limital) and the use of Cannabis with only 1 seizure in the last several years. I started my indoor growing with out much written information but by learning from the Net. I started with water cooled lights grow in home made dirt. I’ve learned growing by failing many times and trowing out entire growing cycles. I’m not sure i really belong here at this site. All of you are way advanced over my style of growing. Thanks for letting me aboard!

Hello everyone, I’m happy to be a part of such a knowledgeable and friendly community!

My name is Bryan Fields and I am the Business Development Manger of Ag, Horticulture and Cannabis markets here at tec5usa.

tec5USA specializes in customized spectroscopy instruments. Our expertise is in combining various spectroscopy components and optimizing it to the customer application demands. Our sensors are built for process and can be positioned in grow houses for continuous real-time measurements, integrated into a portable handheld device, or even attached to a tractor. Our goal is to help growers unlock insights into various aspects of growing such as plant health, PAR, moisture content in real time to allow them to maximize their yield and detect unforeseen problems.

I’m excited to learn what kind of technology you guys are currently using and what you’d be interesting in measuring during any point of the cultivation process.

Hello! My name is Mandy.

I am in the process of making edibles. I have the recipe and packaging complete, but need to update it to comply with all the new laws such as 100 mg.

I wanted to join this group to get in contact with growers to supply good quality materials and also distributors to help me.

Hi everyone,

My name is David Narel I am the chief biotechnology officer of Ganjiverse, a cannabis services organization. As my friend @Pacifico mentioned, we are a full spectrum business solutions company helping cannabis entrepreneurs take legal cannabis worldwide. We offer peace of mind by letting entrepreneurs focus on what they love most about their businesses while we handle the rest. Our initial focus is on marketing, operations, strategy, risk management, technology/web dev, and biotechnology consulting.

One of our first clients makes a brand-new, safe, and non-toxic disinfectant that can also be used for integrated pest management and we hope to be able to share those developments with this community in the near future. However, we are also seeking to establish strategic partnerships with mainstream companies who sell products that could be of use to the cannabis industry. Ultimately, we would like to become a global hub for high level professional cannabis work and information to help move the industry from the black market to the mainstream and beyond.

Along with my work at Ganjiverse, I have an undergraduate degree in bio-molecular engineering and am about to graduate with a master’s degree in biotechnology management. I am very passionate about the human body and health benefits of cannabis, and while I have some growing experience and plenty of lab experience, I am excited to learn from everyone here on GNET.

Thanks for reading
-David

Hi Everybody,

I’m Steve Leffer, Chief Edibles Officer (CEO) at Chocoley Chocolate (dba Chocoley.com and ChocolateForEdibles.com). Chocoley is the Cannabis Industry’s ‘Source’ for gourmet chocolate ingredients, caramel and coconut dough… all perfectly formulated for making spectacularly delicious edibles.

I know I’m not new to the group, but have been kind of MIA for the past several months (the chocolate biz is crazy busy during the holidays), but I’m back and wanted to say ‘Hi’ to all of the new members and get re-acquainted with all of the old GNet veterans. This is truly a wonderful group that is ready and willing to help one another achieve success in this rapidly growing and changing industry.

For those of you that are already producing edibles or if you are interested in getting into this lucrative segment of this huge market, please feel free to give me a call, I am an expert in this area and would love to help you learn, grow and prosper.

Also, I’ll be wandering around the Indo Expo this weekend in Denver (Jan 26 & 27, 2019 at the Denver Mart) handing out FREE chocolate samples to anyone that knows the secret handshake. Okay, I lied, there’s no secret handshake, but, I still want to meet you and if you want to meet up to simply pick my brain or try some Belgian Quality gourmet chocolate, give me a call or text: 678-570-2002.

Also, be sure to ask about our VIP Membership program, that offers savings starting at 40% off all of our Chocolate, Caramel and Coconut Dough and so much more.

Best regards and hopefully see you in Denver,

Steve
