Also if you changed the your feed schedule from 1 time a week to multiple times a week that could be the problem. The plant will uptake the nutrients it needs fast and the nutrients that are left over will be taken up at a slower rate, but they need to be available. *** UPDATE*** I’m thinking you didn’t have Nute burn, I’m thinking you had a potassium deficiency based on how fast the leaves started turning yellow.

Some more leafs are starting to turn yellow but im guessing it still hasn’t drank the nutrients much so I’ll wait till the end of the day to check it out

I think its all because of watering to be honest. Cuz this whole week after i fed the nutes i left the over run water in the pot and didnt pour it out. Also did the same on Wednesday and Thursday since it was 100 degrees outside so i watered and left over run just in case so probably overwatering

Exactly, it does take longer outside, and usually the buds are a bit more loose, not as tight and dense as inside. Mine are right about where yours are except one that is holding out, but the reason is it is a younger plant. The more mature the plant is, the quicker they go into flower usually around 11 hours of dark, and they start turning.

That’s a good observation. I’m already planning on starting plants early next year and then cloning them to wear the timing of them going in the ground is around June 1. That seems to give me the plant size I want. If maturity is what I need. then cloning is the way to go. :+1:t3::v:t3:

Yea but i think its just a leaf mutation since i dont see any bew growth beyong leafs. Normally new stems will pop out and shi and the buds get bigger by the day

What is a sign of “deficiency” in feed that I can watch for? I can tell when it needs water, but nutrients? I’ve no idea what to look for. Thanks.

Here is a basic guide to help you out. Now that your plants in flower your leaves will start fading and turning yellow at the bottom of the plant and start working it’s way up. It’s called nutrient robbing, it steals from the leaves to feed the developing buds. I usually just start bumping up nutrients in really small increments to help offset it. Another thing I do is remove the dying leaves to keep the leaves from using nutrients so the developing buds get them instead.

Thanks. I did just find the link above with lots of info about signs of nute deficiency. All very helpful.
