Is thc liquor possible?

Thanks for the tip, @Bogleg, but getting 100% ethanol here is more than difficult. Booze is a state monopoly here, and it’s forbidden to make at home.

Been tasting-trying weed and booze for sometime. I usually just make a tincture and leave it for months just soaking up white rum and dispense the tincture into a small jar and stock it at my local pub. Its not sold, just have a shot of it when I am feeling brave. But the thing I enjoy doing with the tincture is a morning coffee with a shot and a half. You really do taste and smell the “spice” of cannabis.

My local pub also stocks an award winning local beer/lager. Durban poison. Eventhough many people thought it was a marketing stunt by a pioneering craft company, it is made from roasted hemp seed. Although it does not contain THC or any cannabinoids for that matter, there is a limited edition batch that they added special durban poison terps to.

Is THC liquor possible. Definitely yes, in one way or many.

If I were going to do an alcohol tincture, this is how I would do it. YMMV.

I would first winterize my flower in 100% ethanol and let it sit in a dark place, where I agitate it a little now and then, for three or four months.

Then I would take my resulting ethanol+THC tincture, and I would water it down by adding water to it and make it 50% ABV, and then I would just mix it with whatever other alcohol or ingredients I actually want to drink.

So, I did a public still display this weekend at our local agricultural museum. The old farts from our hobby stillers guild pulled out in force and had a small competition. I am managing the local farmers bar so got in early as I have a fairly big stil, 100 litre copper pot.

It was a first time to do this publicaly, but was very received and alot of fun. Although our liqqa was not for sale, we got some donations from visitors and spectators for our museum.

I came in tied last place, damn. The winner was a citrus infused moonshine, and mine was a mango flavored liqqa measuring in at between 35-39%. A bit sweet for my palette, but delicious anyway. Our next gathering is on the 20th December for a live run. I will do a cannabis run for our GN and post some pictures. Just bought 24 pineapples today for my next mash.

Checking out the competition while we testing the liqqa levels.

My still on the run.

Very wise thoughts. I prefer going for quality liquor and the flavor of cannabis. Its unreal when you get it right. A small shot of good THC liqqa is very tasty in a coffee. Strong “tinctures”, ,strong alcohol are not clever for anyone, and tastes terrible.

If you take the weed separately, then in most cases, it even benefits. It’s the same with alcohol. But anyone who mixes liquor and weed is likely to experience side effects. The consumer experiences episodes of severe vomiting, which are often very severe and painful. The fact is that the herb can affect how the body absorbs and processes liquor. Therefore, the liquor potency may be less effective. Marijuana inhibits the metabolism of alcohol. Therefore, I recommend separately taking marijuana or marijuana concentrates, perhaps making syrup or something like that. Read about marijuana at https://online-dispensary.co, and then you will know what can and cannot be cooked from it.
