I dont see a huge difference. One gallons save a bit of money on promix-hp and nutrients. I can fit more plants and use less of everything so its working out pretty good.
I didnât sample the run-off water. I just took the plant outside, set it on something to raise it off of the ground, and then let the hose run in it for about 15 minutes. I let it completely drain then returned it to the tent.
1-gallon bags? I thought that 3 to 5-gallon bags were the minimum size to use because the soil in a 1-gallon pot just isnât sufficient for nutrients, etcâŚI was considering using 15-gallon bags next time so the plantâs roots can expand a lot and, hopefully, the plant frows taller and more full. Are 15-gallon bags overkill? Or can two plants be grown in a single 15-gallon bag at one time? Can soil be re-used?
Well thereâs your problem everybodyâs giving you good advice to follow but youâre following none of it or following it how you want to follow it not as directed nobody said take them out and run hose water through them it was stated to take them out and run PhD water through them so itâs the correct pH all youâve done by doing what you did is raise the ph to whatever the hose water is as stated above cannabis is a weed if you treat it like a weed it will grow like one there are certain parameters that need to be followed and you seem to just want to ask a lot of questions and not listen to any of the answers so that will be the last of the responses from me due to you not trying to get it corrected yourself you were told how to do a slurry test but yet you choose not to do it you just choose to cry about how s***** your plants look when in reality youâve been given multiple ways to correct them and you still choose to go your own route so best wishes
If you canât make it work in a bigger bag I would definitely not even try a 1 gallon
I looked up how to do a slurry test and it says you need a soil pH meter. The only one of those that I have is the one you said is no good (see above).
Iâm just trying to take in everything in a short period of time. Everyone learns at different speeds and types.
Wow thats a classic picture lol!
I couldnât agree more. The only thing I have found to flush out and repair over nuted soil is water with microbes, and that can only help so much if you have poisened the soil to the point of no return. The main problem is that the roots are toast.
And that is why I went to 100% organic grows. The hell with chemical fertilizers. I take the organics and make a tea if they seem like they are starting to lack something, start with a good organic soil with plenty of goodies in it and they will do fine. As most know I use Gaia Green. There are others out there based on the same basics. I also always add a little extra seaweed meal and some Azomite, that covers all the minerals you could/would every need. Here is a pic of my current outside Nothing but organics, not a drop of any âbottleâ stuff. All Gair green, mixed in before start, them top dressed into the first inch or so of soil and watered once a week with a tea made from the power bloom blend. I put these plants in, the 15th of July at about 3" tall started the seeds in cups in the same soil blend inside for a couple of weeks.
They are just starting to bud, hope they make it before cold weather. Dark, healthy blue green.
