Let's pollinate this place up, a breeding adventure with aficionados and gelato 33% + THC & ig giveaway

For sure a common problem , atm it’s up to the producer to be honest with their patients. I lost a big chunk of a crop a yr and a half ago due to mold. Plants had serious pH issues and microbes were wiped out bad , tried to listen to salt growers and was told to muscle my pH into place lol… Wrong idea with organics ends up releasing nutrients in the wrong order and super stressed plants are quite vulnerable to mold etc as we all know. But lesson learned lash back from that one crop is just ending now tbh. catastrophic losses are not easy to recover from when using bottled nutes, bills are just too high

Issue is not everyone is honest just the way it is…Some f it up for others is usually how things go…Plus Government loves the control…
So far so good no bud rot here BUT thrips are a killer. Getting better actually but not 100% gone. There way worse then gnats or aphids to me…Been blessed never had spider mites lol Not Good!

Scraping up my pollen collection to see what I got to work with from the first collection. Hope to get a gram or more to work with, hard to say till it’s all gathered up.

I tried to inform someone over there, that you can build up mold resistance in plants using organics, he basically laughed at me… No mold in my grow last round and I’m sure you have a fair idea of what my environment is like to battle, summer has just barely started and we’re already in the mid 40’s C with RH 65%+ on a regular basis…
Midway through summer I’m planning my next drop.

Be well lit brother :v:

Great news !! I still have my favorite grannyskunk pheno (sour apple, lime) so I will be able to make some grannyskunk seeds after all. @empyreal.craig
I didn’t have great returns on pollen on the sorbetto male in the paper bags, but did manage the open air pollination for sorbetto. I will try using parchment paper instead I still have some branches left for open air pollination I can collect off.humidity melts pollen bad lol.ill try a dehumidifier next

The Munson and grannyskunk males are just starting to push out some balls.it will be a smaller seed batch as I only have one plant of each to work with on grannyskunk, tho I will have 4 different crosses of munson if all goes well

Cant wait to see what you drop next @Enlightened420 :green_heart:

Keep up the good work!

I’m trying out some techniques that could make sharing clone-only plants a bit easier.

I have some they work great. The tissue culture clones store well and don’t take up much space and should be sterile if done right, making them a choice way to share w ppl

Very nice! Thats awesome

I like those too! The little box pictured is a micro propagation tray from Oasis. 30 tiny clones in one box is a nice bonus (if you get lucky and everything works perfectly. I’ve already lost a few to mold!)

You ever get either one tested? From the last harvest?

Wow found a jar of munson just b4 I ran outta buds to smoke, gotta learn to pace my smoking better … Smoked over a lb of hash from this crop, now im down to rubbing buds that already had the first run (normally used to make shatter) not as tasty but still alright buzz.but I knew from crop day that after paying for over 15000 in power and materials and new lights and new genetics I was broke broke broke yet again.growing pains are always fun.next crop will be a bit better I think but I have big plans for this runs improvements indeed!! Soon it will be solar panels to work on getting off grid.it will take a few yrs but I’ll have my dream set up yet!! Solar panels and battery cost about 35000 for 100 amps of 240.(I’d love to have 250 amps but that will take some time!!

Just looking at the sorbetto seed project, by the looks of the hairs I’m thinking I have close to 200 pollinated sites atm. Open air pollination is super easy. I have 3 spaces I can set up w negative air to run a few more pollinations.

@hoppiefrog you always thinking and looking to improve, which says everything - you think big too!

Any picks of your breeding adventure?? Curios how your male plants are looking and your pollen sacks. Plus your pollen collection.
Haven’t seen any pics of the work your doing yet.
