So I’ve been looking into kits and led panels, been trying to find the QB 648 used on the hlg 650r but it doesn’t seem like they are for sale anywhere that I could find yet… lots of qb 288’s though. Is there really a that big of a difference between the 2? Looks like the qb648 is much better in the red spectrum which means it should be better for flower right?

Red is good but I think there is a break-even point. Past that, the excess red is wasted. Better to have green or white over excess red.

When a leaf is above another leaf in nature, the sunlight thru the green leaf make a red.
This triggers the smaller plant to grow taller than the one covering it. Red promotes rapid growth.
